Chapter 4 A "Good" Day in School
It's Friday morning, Kitty's getting ready for school. Ryuna decides to go with her, she transforms in a silver-haired, golden-eyed girl. They're walking to school.
Kitty: Ryuna-senpai, why do you want to go to school with me?
Ryuna: Because I'm always bored staying at home and having no one to talk to. Besides, I want to see what kind of people your friends are.
Kitty: Oh ok. ^^
Ryuna: And if anyone asks, I'm your cousin.
Kitty: Eh? (looks confused)
They enter the classroom. There Kitty sees Yugi and his friends.
Kitty: Morning guys!
Yugi: Hey Kitty! ^^
Joey: Hm? Hey Kitty, who's the girl behind you?
Kitty: Oh um..... this is my cousin Ryuna. Ryuna, these are my friends.
Ryuna: Nice to meet you all.
Yugi: Nice to meet you too Ryuna.
Class starts, the teacher writes some math problems on the board, Kitty just stares into nothingness, daydreaming.
Teacher: Can anyone tell me the answer to this math problem? 3x+5=17 (looks around, points to Kitty) Neko?
Kitty: (ignores, still daydreaming)
Teacher: Neko?
Ryuna: -_- (groans, kicks Kitty's leg)
Kitty: >.< OW! O_O Huh?!
Teacher: Glad to have you back Neko-chan, now can you tell me the answer to this equation?
Kitty: Uh um..... Aw man! I have no clue how to do math! (sweats a lot) >.<;;
Ryuna: -_- (raises hand)
Teacher: Yes, Ryuna-chan?
Ryuna: The answer is x=4.
Teacher: Correct!
Kitty: I'm such a dummy. (hits head on desk) How embarrassing! T~T
Kitty's next class is science, she's working on a group project along with Bakura and Ryuna.
Ryuna: So what do you want to do Kitty-chan, disect the frog, mix the chemicals, or write down the results?
Kitty: Um, I think I wanna mix the chemicals.
Ryuna: All right then, then I'll disect the frog, stay here I'm gonna get the tools.
Kitty: K! (picks up 2 random vials of chemicals)
Bakura: Uh, Kitty-san, do you know what you're doing?
Kitty: Of course I do Bakura-kun, why wouldn't I? (laughs nervously, looks at formula sheet) What the-?! What the heck do these symbols mean? Oh well, I'm just gonne guess. (pours 2 random chemicals in a big glass cup)
Bakura: Uh, Kitty-san? ^^;;
Kitty: (it starts bubbling) Uh oh! (some lands on the frog) ..... Phew! I thought it was gonna explode or something. Hehe! ^^;; (ribbit) O_O EEEKKK!!! Oh my God! (frog hops away)
Bakura: O_o
Ryuna: (runs back) What happened?
Kitty: I just mixed some chemicals, then it started bubbling, then some landed on the froggy, then it came to life and then it hopped away. T~T
Bakura: Well that was..... interesting. ^^;;
Ryuna: Dang! You gotta tell me what chemicals you used. XD
Kitty: (totally embarrassed) >////////<
It's breaktime, Kitty and Ryuna are outside in the court playing basketball.
Ryuna: What's with you Kitty? You've been acting really weird today. (shoots ball, makes a shot)
Kitty: (catches ball) Oh it's nothing really. (shoots ball, misses) Aw man!
Ryuna: Well, I have a feeling it's cuz of a boy. (shoots, makes it)
Kitty: (catches ball) What makes you say that? (shoots, misses, groans) >.<
Ryuna: (catches ball) It's kinda obvious from all that daydreaming and blushing and stuff. (shoots, makes it)
Kitty: (catches ball) But that doesn't mean its a boy. (shoots)
Bakura: Hey Kitty-san!
Kitty: (ball bounces off rim) Bakura-kun! (ball hits her on the head) OW! >.< (falls on ground)
Ryuna: (tries not to laugh) Ahem! -_-
Bakura: (runs to Kitty) Hey, are you all right?
Kitty: Yea, I'm fine. (rubs head, gets up) So watsup?
Bakura: Well I was thinkin, if you aren't doing anything tomorrow, maybe we can hangout at the mall, just the two of us.
Kitty: O_O Wha-?! Me? Um, sure, we can hang out. ^^;; (laughs nervously)
Bakura: Great! I'll pick you up at 3 tomorrow. Bye! (runs off)
Kitty: (blushing) EEEEE!!!!! Oh my god! Bakura-kun just asked me out on a date! (jumps up and down) ^o^ Yay! I'm so happy!
Ryuna: Something doesn't feel right. I better find out what it is before it's too late.
