I would've posted sooner but I think the Taco Bell dinner messed me up. I should be at work right now but I kept running in and out of the bathroom as well as a certain someone who gave birth to me decided to be passed out and change locks again and leave their daughter locked out of the house where she can't get inside to her own ******** car.
Putting that aside!
1) Friday afternoon/evening: Driving was cool. We listened to this podcasting that had interesting stores. (Born again Christian brother who disapproved yet still loved his sister who's a lesbian, A father who had a tumor in his brain and part of his cerebellum cut off to where he does things most people know better not to do, and then two sisters who are two years apart acting like identical twins and are each other's best friends. They're in their 70s or 80s and still doing things together and IDENTICAL. o_o; )Hotel was super nice! We ( Heather gentileschi and Jason animejx ) saw the pool and wished that we could've gone swimming.
Later on that night, we went to this place called Pasta Factory and their chicken alfredo is ******** awesome! I want some right now so badly. ;o; They had a special dinner with the GoH which was Jerry Jewel there. We were worried about the screaming from the fangirls but it was pretty mellow for the most part. The alfredo and bread sticks made me very happy. Hell, I even risked some of the salad and it was good too. Ate the salad without anyone forcing me to as well.
Also, before dinner and right after me and Jason had Heather watching YGO Abridged and they told me Dead Fantasy 2 was out so we watched that as well. Lots of random videos and such. (lol @ dicknapkin)
Jason also dropped his cellphone in the toliet somehow and it still works! I dunno how that happened. He's super lucky.
2) Saturday morning we all got up around 7am Utah time which is 6am Vegas time. First thing out of my head was I wanted to watch/listen to Read a Book (if you don't know what that is, you need to lurk more on the internets). Heather never heard of it before either so I enlightened her with that. Seriously there was plenty of lulz in this one day trip. She got ready dressed as Oscar for the day, Erin ( friskykitten ) talked me into using her Ouran uniform and with the black wig I have and the black cloak, cosplay as Nekozawa. (Which btw, I don't remember where I put Beelzenef and Erin as well don't know where hers is so it was a sad panda cosplay but still many people liked.) Jason, of course, doesn't cosplay... hehe ... So he was already ready to go when Heather was finished.
3) Arrival @ Fannatiku: I changed into Nekozawa in the special hotel room Rich had. For the 1 day con, there was a mini dealer's room. I knew one of them from Meijin so I got a free ichigo-ramune and I bought a Badtz-Maru mask. Because he's an awesome penguin. Erin bought me a little pouch thing that has an ankh embroidered on it. <3<3<3 Sakura loves ankhs. We ended up waiting a bit for Heather's cosplay panel to start then around 11:30 it started. I learned a lot from her and Sarah who was cosplaying as Bossanoda-kun (from Ouran as well) at the time. Got a pic with her while I was Nekozawa. Either Erin or Jason took that pic. I'll get it from either eventually to post all over the place.. Most likely my myspace though. Also whenever Sarah's in town again we get to go to this one place and I can look for stuff to make loli Mad Hatter top hat. Hurrah.
4) So panel's over and we got time to kill so we go to this wig store across the street since Erin's entering the competition and she was in need of wig pins. Said wig store was closed so we got bad directions from people trying to find one. Instead we found Panda Express. I haven't had that in probably a year or so. The orange chicken was yummy and I kept talking about wanting to go to Pasta Palace >_>; You'll hear that alot because pasta palace was awesome. On the way back, Erin's soda spilled on me and her so emergency soda removal from cosplay top occurred. We found Jason before we started eating and this random gay dude sat with us stating that I'm a lesbian and Jason is the Hot Vegas dude or Hot Vegas Guy. I forgot the wording but yeah. Sakura likes guys obviously and only gets random gay moments for bad a** anime chicks who do a lot of killing. ^^;;
5) Random awkward eating finished and it was time for Erin to get judged. I had the pic pulled up on my phone so I showed the other judge and then left the area. Me and Jason wandered for a bit then I think that's when we did the photo shoot stuffs for awhile for Heather. That was cool. She does the most awesome poses. I'm sure the pics will be super special awesome once she posts them.
Also somewhere between 4 an 5 Heather was getting stuff out of her makeup bag and her eyebrow thing turned on and all we heard was vibrating. Dirty dirty thoughts and laughter inserted here for all that was around.
6) Because I'm tired and still kinda ick feeling, I'm cutting this short from the detail I had with the sudden better energy burtst earlier.
Masquerade was cool. Someone cosplayed as Sunako-chan ( Wallflower, Perfect Girl Evolution, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge ) and I took a pic of her as Nekozawa. It's like my crossover OTP of Nekozawa x Sunako. Much love to the occult charas who can't handle the light. I won a Alvis figurine from the raffle. <3 I love Last Exile. It makes me a happy Saku.
Before the masquerade though we decided that we must do Phoenix Wright group cosplay for Anime Vegas. This is where, me, Erin and Heather went into demanding mode and said that Jason must be Apollo Justice and Robbie must be Phoenix Wright.. Most likely Hobo!Phoenix to match Jason. I'm forced to be Franciska. Foolish fools that want the black one to cosplay as THE Franciska von Karma. lol. IC much. Erin's gonna be Edgeworth, I talked Heather into being Maximillion Galactica <3 That makes me so happy, you have no idea. I asked George to be Gumshoe and Shinku to be Ema Skye. Me and Erin forced Megan to take either Mia, Mia possessing Maya or Mia possessing Pearl due to the massive boobage. She's just forced into all the characters with boobs. I also suggested Adrian cause of her glasses. That's gonna so rock my AVC this year.
We went to taco bell after the con and such before the drive home and ate there. Heather called Robbie to tell him of the cosplay we're forcing him to do and to get his reaction of what Heather will cosplay as. His exact response via speaker phone when he found the picture of him was, "WHAT THE ********?!" I swear we laughed so loud and hard we disturbed the others in the Taco Bell.
7) We drive home, Erin sleeps in the car, I wake her up cause we needed to get gas plus she had to go potty. We get to my house, I'm locked out, no one is answering inside. Megan calls up we go to Denny's and hang out for a bit. I had cheesecake. We go to my dad's house. Look at old highschool pics. Megan and Richard borrows my XP home edition disk for their computer. Erin-tachi go home. I stay up feeling tired but wanted to catch up with Shinku and such. Wake up early being very ill. I blame the taco bell still. Called into work sick and emailed my boss about it since I still don't have his number. I'm going to the doctor to make sure everything's ok and then have something for my boss on Tuesday when I go back.
All in all, the trip was very fun for a tiny little town in Utah. And Utah drivers are crazy.
