Kasumi smiled "Well, I would be happy too. Unfourtantly I am a little...interested. I find you to be an odd creature. Not like these bloody, horrid fiends." He voice was cool. She just turned her head as the hollow died. Her eyes were half closed. She sighed "Why me?" Kasumi asked Shi. Then he gaze went to his back. Her brown pools were full of suffering. She didn't want this. Kasumi just wanted everything to return to the way it was. Thoughts of Daijiro crept into mind. A memory surfaced from long ago...
"Dai, Stop!" Kasumi had once said. Daijiro held out her Math text that she had been working from above her head and out of reach. That day Kasumi had been with Daijiro in the park. Those days they hadn't even been a couple yet. Although they did know each other and got along somewhat. Daijiro laughed "Come on, Why study? It's break!" he had said with a playful grin. Kasumi reached up for her text. She glanced at Daijiro "Give it! Exams are in 2 months!" She said. Daijiro smiled at her "Chill, Relax. It's okay. You don't need to study 24/7." He had said. Kasumi blushed. The Daijiro set the book on the ground "Now, What are we going to do?" he asked her. Kasumi had looked at him with wavering eyes. She sighed "Relax. Because it's spring break?" She asked. Daijiro grinned and did a thumbs up "Yep, Totaly!" He laughed. Kasumi just stared at him from her spot near the tree. At that time she had always thought Dai to be weirder then weird.
Kasumi came back from her memory. She sighed "Dai, I miss you.' She whispered. A tear fell down her cheek. It hurt so much. All Kasumi wanted was to be alone. She looked at Shi "Let me return." She said softly. She wnated to be home. She wanted to be with her friends. She wanted everything to be back to normal. None of Shi's desires. She didn't want to be here. Kasumi wanted to turn back time. Even if for only a day or two. She wanted to be with Daijiro and at home. Thats' when she had been the happiest in her life. If only she could have saved him from the cancer. Kasumi looked to the ground. Tears streamed down her face "Why me? Why not someone else?" she muttered.
