You say you want a life. A family, children. Me, as your wife, to come home to. That you'll get the job to make Sure we have the home to live in.
Yet you act so foolishly. So arrogant, so unsure... So plainly stupid; That no one trusts you.
Then you ask forgiveness Just to turn your back again. You break the band And lose that which is most precious.
When I see you crumpled and bleeding On the sidewalk; struggling Not to show The terror so obvious Only to those who know you.
I pick you up and nurse you to life Only to be used again. My soul may mourn for you and yours, But my heart feels nothing.
You are nothing but a coward. A boy in a mans clothing. A mere fledgling of misery and loss.
You ran from the life you could've had. And now here it is Picking you up again. So you can go and live. While you leave me behind again.
Dont ask why I do this. I do this so that You may live. (And leave me alone.)
