Art can be a virtually anything. in my case, art is not an object that is displayed, but a gifted that is inherited. Art for me, are my grandmother's hands. the hands my grandmother are symbols of my heritage. Her Paj Ntaub (flower cloth), which she design, she had made me realize that to keep my family Hmong heritage alive, her hands must live through others!



My grandma's hand are a work of art in themselves, and with them she gives the Hmong heritage life. Paj Ntaub is a tribute to hmong to Hmong women, especially for prospective brides. It protray's a young girl's ablitiy to be dilligent, disciplined and creative. It is how we express the ancient clans, and is the only skill and gift that the females in my culture are known for
