OK, so I decided not to wait until tomorrow to post what happened to me today. Anyways so you all know that Friday was my Birthday. I'm now 17. So today I got to hang out with my best friend in the whole wide world, Colin. Colin is kinda like the father I never had. He's overindulgent and let's me get away with practically everything. So anyways, today we started with our normal Sunday ritual, which is we go to a meeting then to the Goodwill. Anyways, but since it was my birthday Friday he took to London's annual Ribfest down at Victoria Park. We got our Starbucks coffee, and both had a half rack of ribs. They were actually pretty good. Anyways so after we had our horrible treat we headed over to the movie theater in the mall a few blocks down. Being a HUGE fan of old DC and Marvel comics you can probably guess what movie we went and saw. Dark Knight was freaking amazing but the ending leaves off unanswered questions. Me and Colin of course discussed the whole thing over ice cream from the Marble Slab. Anyways our big questions for the movie were: do you recast the part of the Joker? or write him out as an asylum patient? and Do you bring back Two Face? not meaning to ruin the movie for anyone but they kinda leave off that the Joker gets caught but Two Face dies. Whereas, as anyone who is a Tim Burton fan will know, in the original Batman movies, Batman kills the Joker at the end of BATMAN by throwing him off the side of a church to save the leading lady. But really Joker also kinda kills himself because he doesn't grab on to Batman's hand when Batman tries to save him. They had a scene in Dark Knight that would have been the perfect write out for the Joker, but seeing as how they were planing to bring back Heath Ledger at the time, they had Batman save him. Oh and get this all you Batman fans who know every last detail: they made it so that Harvey Dent (AKA Two Face) goes nuts and tries to kill the cops' family. Then Batman saves the day by throwing him over a ledge onto the floor below. probably about ten to twenty feet. Not really something you would expect to die from. Besides everyone knows that he has to come back in order for Batman to meet Robin, who contrary to popular belief was actually in his twenties when he met Batman and is definitely NOT a little boy of about twelve, like some shows like to portray, *cough* Teen Titans *cough* sucks *cough*. Anyways the movie was amazing and the leading lady in this one was definitely much more enjoyable to watch than the stilted obviously horrible acting of Katie Holmes. Katie Holmes should have stayed with Dawson's Creek because that show sucked, and nobody would have to be subjected to watching her act because nobody watched the show anyways. I mean with actors like her in the cast it's no wonder it got canceled.
