<center>"BUSH: LIKE A ROCK, ONLY DUMBER." This is one of the many bumper stickers you'll find on at least half of American's vehicles. Why half? Bush is the most polarizing President that we've had so far yet in whole history of presidency. Americans are split in half. Either they love George W. Bush or they hate him. But the strangest thing is that they don't just fight over, or disagree over his policies, the also argue over who he is, his intelligence, integrity and intentions. Just a little strange don't you think?
Quote from the Rolling Stone November 11, 2004, "Did you see Bush on TV, trying to debate? Jesus, he talked like a donkey with no brains at all. The tide turned early, in Coral Gables, when Bush went belly up less than halfway through his first bout with Kerry, who hammered poor George into jelly. It was pitiful.... I almost felt sorry for him, until I heard someone call him "Mister President," and then I felt ashamed,"unquote from The Fun-Hogs in the Passing Lane by Dr. Hunter S. Thompson pg 58.
Presidential Politics is a vicious business, even for those rich old white men, anybody, and I mean anybody should be very, very prepared to grapple with the meanest of the mean. There are no rules and the "roadside is littered with wreckage" That's probably why they called it the passing lane. Ask any candidate whose ever ran against George Bush - Al Gore, Ann Richards, John McCain - all of them ambushed and vanquished by lies and those dirty little tricks. And all are still whining about it.
This is why George Bush has been our President for a four years now, and going on another. That's why Al Gore was not our President, Bush just simply wanted it more. And of course he was absolutely ready to squash anything or anyone in his way, including the U.S. Supreme Court. It is not just by accident that Bush controls all three branches of our federal government. They are like these big huge thugs whom would soon rather die than lose the election in November.
Why do we elect a President? To help us decide what is right? To get along with other countries? To keep us safe and away from wars? Well, the first two sound right, but the third? Uh, no. We love wars. We have always it seems. George Bush is still American isn't he? Another gone away to war. In four short years he has turned our country from a thriving nation at peace into a desperately indebted nation at war. But so what? He's the President of the United States, and your not. Love it or leave it.
"War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that you military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political difference widened beyond our ability to bridge them.... Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nation is to take the profit out of war." -Richard M. Nixon, "REAL PEACE" (1983) "Bush is a natural-born loser with a filthy-rich daddy who pimped his son out to rich oil-mongers. He hates music, football and sex, in no particular order, and he is no fun at all."- Hunter S. Thompson.
We're not Democrats here, and we're not Republicans. We're Americans. Do we want to live a good life? Yeah. Hell yeah. Of course we do! Only a fool or a sucker would vote for a dangerous loser like Bush. We have to get out and vote, while it's still legal to, so we will coerce those stupid "warmongers" out of the White House.
