Oh my gosh, Chayne! I'm so, so sorry...
I know there isn't much I can do, especially considering how far away I am, but I can give you a little advice.
1. Hang out with your friends as much as possible. I know that seems a little redundant, but your mother really wouldn't want you to worry so much about her. Your friends will make you happy, if only for a little while. I know Aurora was always able to cheer me up when I was down, and when they told me that my mother was going to die. (And, thank whomever is up there that she's still with the living).
2. This fact won't make you feel better, but it's the truth. You are a teenager, and your heart will be broken more than once by guys. Nobody wants their heart broken, but everyone is hurt eventually. It's a part of life. I really, really hope that you both maintain your friendship through all of this.
3. You are not as young as you used to be. You made your mother weak. When you were a baby. You caused your mother arm problems from holding you, and maybe a little extra weight. When you were a baby. She had to keep an eye on you all the time. When you were a baby. That was over 10 years ago. Her body has definately recovered from the strain of giving birth, especially after 17 years. Worrying about your mother and not taking care of yourself will just make her even worse.
I'm sorry I missed your birthday. Happy (late) birthday! May this year have many blessings to come.
I'll make sure to do lots o' praying.
Sharon
