Friday afternoon around 5 dad got home from work and I got paid. I asked Opa if he'd take me to the mall so I could get something. After I said I'd pay for whatever gas we used he agreed and took me to the mall. He waited in the car while I went inside to Spencer's. I got black fishnet arm socks and black cutoff gloves. I was going to get a cool wig but they moved them and I couldn't find them. I stopped at Hot Topic on the way out and bought some really cool socks....all knee length....solid black, pink and black striped, and white and black striped. I also got some pink leg warmers. Then...I went home and five minutes after I got home Abbie showed up at my house to take me to Showcase with her. I'd have to say that the Emcees were the best part of Showcase Friday night.
Saturday Nick and I woke up around 10, went to King Soopers to cash his check, and went through the drive through at McDonalds to get something to eat before we went to a guitar thing for Chris. Now...this guitar thing he wanted us to go to for him was over in Westminster. What was it, you ask? There was this music store that, on Saturday only, was giving away a free guitar every half an hour from noon to 4. You had to enter your name, but you could only do it once. Chris said that you had to be in the store to get the guitar...When we got there, though, it said you didn't have to be in the store at all. So...After we entered our names, Nick and I wandered around the shopping mall. We went to Circuit City, Best Buy, Pets Mart, Walmart....I bought the movies Hook and Bram Stoker's Dracula. I got my dog a new collar and leash at Petsmart, and a cool scarf thing and some...*ahem* personal...clothes at Walmart. We eventually made our way back to the music store in time to hear the last name called and we asked about the other names called. We didn't win anything, so we got in his truck and left. On the way back we stopped at Woody's Wood Fired Pizza and got some pizza...It wasn't very good if you ask me. The top was burnt, the bottom was burnt (only a little for both) and the middle was still doughy...We took the pizza we didnt eat home with us and stopped at Sonic so I could fill up on a grilled chicken sandwich. Mmmmm...That was very tasty.
Somehow on the way home I convinced Nick to go to Showcase with me. We took my dad's camera, but I had bumped some dial on it and it wouldn't take any pictures when Abbie and Auss were up. It wasn't until after intermission that nick discovered what was wrong, so we only got pictures from the second act. We left after Teen Vader, though, to go see Fantastic Four at Elvis.
Sunday morning I had another meeting with the bishop. *sigh* He gave me homework. I have to find out how much it would cost for me to live on my own....apartment, food, car, insurance..the whole deal. I have to tell him what I found next Sunday. After that I went home, got something to eat, then left for church with Nick. I had to go to the adult sunday school class, and relief society. crying I felt so out of place. I seriously thought I was going to cry when Sister Oldham said I'd do fine then left for Young Women's. cry Aud came in to ask someone something, and I called her over and said I needed a hug. I don't wanna grow up!!
After church we went home and helped dad start dinner. Fried potatoes with bacon and onions. Mmmmmmm. Yummy. I didn't get any, though. Nick and I had to leave just before it was finished. We went to the mall to meet my friends Jen and Josh to go on a double date with them. We ate at Fazolli's then went to buy our movie tickets at Elvis. Though it was already 20 mins into the movie when we got there, so we got tickets for the next showing and went to WalMart for about 40 minutes. Nick and Josh went to look at guns and such and Jen and I went to the toys. We rode a bike up and down the aisle a few times then we found a Koosh ball to play with. We lined Batman and Superman banks across the aisle and used it as a "net" to play volly ball. Then the guys came back and we went to see the movie...Sky High. It's a good movie. I really liked it. After the movie we went home.
