Okay I am back form school and the job shadowing( that is what it is called). I had a lot of fun, first of all I got very far in my book I am reading. Second I got a new clay art done to day now all I have to do is paint them and fire them up and I will be done!!
Then i went to the job shadowing, it was fun first I walked around the station and got shown a lot of the equipment.and talked to one of the newest guys at the station I learned that there is a school that is only 4 hours away and it only cost $2,000 for the full year. the guy I talked to had only been working there for about 2 moths so he was still getting new to every thing too. I seen the dorms, garage, and the other places in the station (there is a lot). Then we went to the burn site. I GOT TO RIDE IN A FIRE TRUCK!!! It was so fun and the guy I was talking to, his name was Darin, he honked the horn and laugh about it and I laugh too. I seen a lot of pretty houses on the way there. There was a set of houses by this big pond and it was so cool looking. when we got to the burn site i just wait tell one of the main firemen talked to me and gave me a hard hat, goggles then some earplugs to put on. I watched them cut metal with a touch and jackhammer, drill ,and saw cement then they asked me if i wanted to "get in on some of it" and I said "yeah!" I got to drill holes in the cement and use a plate grinder, ( it is like a grinder shaped like a saw). At first it was hard to use the grinder but all i had to do was put pressure on it and it cut easily.I had a lot of fun and they all where so nice to me then i went back to the station and talk with the chief. He was really the one of three guys that where heads over the stations. He told me the different ranks and told me about the schooling need and said I could just keep taking the tests all over and still do schooling if I wanted so now i feel a lot more confident about being a fire fighter. He also told me just to do a lot of running and keep in good shape so I can do the physical test easily. I had a lot of fun!! I EVEN TOLD THEM I WAS ENGAGED!!! I love you Corrina, you give me so much strength and happiness. I am happy i found you!! Thank you!!! blaugh heart blaugh blaugh heart heart xd
