Elyon scowled as she rode closer and closer to Titan City, Near The Holy Palace. She clenched the reigns of the tired horse so hard that her palms sweat. It panted as she slowed into down to a trot. The plague had control of her body and let her have little control of her mind. Why? The plague knew Elyon well enough for her to force a pause of thought. Though it trusted that she knew her fate all to well. Still it didn't want to take any chances with the child. After all hope could be a powerful thing when ignited. Elyon noticed the sun was beggining to fade into the background. The time was near. Soon she would have to rest due to this blessing. The plague cursed the coming of dawn out loud. It knew that this would possibly bring a bit of trouble of course. Though...this could be a lucky moment for Elyon or her. All Immortals at dawn and dusk were weakened. That is when sleep decided to take over and dreams dance their enchantments. Maybe it would be better to change directions? The sity was large and since the Holy Palace was at the other end it made sense to rest and for it to take a few hours. After all it had been late in the day when the plague started its journey. With a sigh Elyon brought her horse to a stop as if it were a burden. Already it seemed that everyone was staring at her. When she had left the temple not many were in its area since the plague was around. Elyon closed her eyes for a moment. She then breathed in "I best rest. Right, Plague?" She uttered slowly. Immortals were heading to slumber and a cozy room. Elyon looked around. Where was she to sleep? Maybe Mel's? Elyon jumped off the horse and went to a small inn. She asked the man to keep the horse for a little while so she could rest. The man agreed with a smile of gentlemen poportions that made the plague laugh. The plague made her walk to her friends house. Meleny opened the door "Ely!" She squealed. Elyon smiled "I am sorry to barge in. I am on my way home from visiting someone. May i stay?" she asked. Mel giggled "Of course! We adore you. Why would you think otherwise" She stated cheerfully. The two girls entered the warm house.
The plague made Elyon lie that she had left early that morning to visit and didn't expect to be here this late. Meleny soaked it up without a care. Her friend was just happy she was here. Elyon smelled baking and maroni. It was so welcoming. She hadn't had any dinner but luckily Meleny was just having hers. Her friend prefered to have her later now that certain things happen. Supper ha dbeen a pleasure. Meleny bounced about. Finally dusk came and they were both tired. Elyon dragged her feet towards Mel's room. Her friend had let her borrow a long white night-dress. It felt comfy against her skin. Meleny smiled brightly "Talk when we wake up?" She asked. Then crawled into her large bed thta could fit three children. the green quilt was energetic. Elyon crawled in beside her friend and snuggled into her. Soon sleep swept over her. The plague in the mean time plotted its next moves.
