Eloera sat alone in her chambers on her bed. Her legs were underneath her as she knelt. She had been healed completely for the time being. Her children had left her to return to her home. In her hands she held the invitation from Anjuline. It was to a grand party or ball, if you rather call it that. The Goddess of Celestial felt tears spring from her eyes. They slowly fell down her cheeks when she thought of it. Why now? Right after a death of her lover. Did fate really hate her that much?
The stars shone only slightly because their goddess was in a pain that could not be healed like her wounds. No one at this time knew her paint. This included Augusta who also had loved Bakura. After all the women had Marshall and the child that used to be the plague. Eloera felt her grip on the paper tighten. She looked out of the window in hate. Why? She knew it was wrong to think the thoughts she thought now and was most likely going to pay for doing so but still. Did she not have the right to be slightly angry? She paused for a few seconds "No." She answered with that.
A small fairy came in "Mistress, Do you really wish that? Do you really believe that?" It asked her. Eloera looked at the fairy "If you speak of the women...I believe.." She gasped. Her fingers came to her lips. She looked at the fairy in surprise "Could the women really be him? I did see the smoke and his body. How could it be him?" She questioned. The fairy spun around "Facts are facts. What would Father say?" It asked her.
Eloera looked away "I don't know. I wish more then anything to speak to him. He always tried to help me. I used to believe I knew all but lately I have found I know nothing. I am always confused and can never do what my heart desires." She said in a soft voice. Tears now ran down her face quickly. The fairy sighed "Such is the fate of the first. You must obey the law and have no choice. If you go to see you'll be labeled quiet harshly." It had it's hands on it's hips. Eloera closed her eyes "I shall ask our Mother to..." She was cut off by the fairy. The fairy narrowed her eyes "What? The penalty! Without you this universe has nothing!" it squeaked. With a humph the fairy left.
Now she was alone. Eloera began thinking of what she'd wear to the ball. Something elegant. She;'d have to hold her head eye for rumors were probably spreading of what she did at the Wind Temple. A servant came "Are you going" it asked. Eloera nodded "Fix me a dress." She told the servant. Then swiftly described her gown. She'd also wear her celestial head piece.
