...and only last year, in early November, while me, and my brothers, were recording Paralyzer: The Chase; we ran into a perfect John Lennon lookalike, who asked us, "Dudes! Why so subdued?"
Me, and my brothers, were a tad confused... okay, very confused... and so, John Lennon repeated himself...
I kind of giggled, and smiled... I think Sergei said we were recording a movie... then John Lennon pointed out that we dropped our sweater (was it me? or Sergei, that dropped it...?); so both of us picked it up... heh...
...then John Lennon turned, and shouted to a passing biker, "Watch out for the dinosaur!"
(I honestly think, though, that he was trying to make us laugh, and loosen up... we're such... stiff children outside... heh...)
...we got weird-ed out, and walked off (something I regret having done now, since honestly thinking about it, that guy probably could've been an interesting friend)...
...while John Lennon started petting, and talking, to this nice, black dog that was outside the coffee shop (we had been recording in the alleyway next to the coffee shop, beforehand)... while we kind of just watched from... what's it called...? I'm not even sure, but it's a rounded pillar thingy, with bulletins/posters on it... yeah... and one of my brothers said that John Lennon had noticed us; and smiled, I think.
After that night, we did see him a few more times around the street that we liked to hang out (mostly to record, and *try* to relax... was easier to do so, on weekends, when nobody had classes, heh); and one time, we followed him from a safe distance to see him go into one of the stores that used to be on that street...
John Lennon didn't notice us that time, but other times, he usually just smiled at us, friendly smile, of course... and I think, that my brother, Hwang, saw John Lennon again when Hwang was helping Uncle Yoshimitsu clear the things out of our old house (which had a fire last month... whole different story... long story... damn life... crying ); and said that John Lennon smiled at him, while walking with a girl, who Hwang said was most likely John Lennon's sister, or girlfriend. *shrug*
...if I had a penny, for all the times, me and my brothers passed up a chance to make a friend... I'd have like three pennies, or something. blaugh
I'm too tired to continue this... but am going to wikipedia to make sure I got the date right; on whether, or not, this day was the day that the real John Lennon died...
...on another note, can't wait to move back into my hometown later this week ~ yay! biggrin
