I took my mom in for surgery this morning, and just as they were prepping her, we got a call. It was her surgeon's nurse, explaining that the surgery was being postponed to Friday. A 42 year old woman in another ward just had a stroke, and Mama's surgeon needed to help her immediately.
The people at the hospital were really nice, and even refunded the money we spent getting to and fro.
I really hope the other woman pulls through okay!
