Over the years she had changed quite a bit. yes, she did love herself and think she was quite adult like but she had also become more soft, gentle, slightly lonely and artistic. She stood in front of her school in front of her boyfriend, Jean. He had short, black hair with long bangs that covered his blue eyes slightly. When he smiled it seemed to be full of charm and nobility. Today he had a insecure frown on his face and was rubbing the back of his neck in guilt. Only moment ago Elyon had sworn that her day was going to be the best thus far but it had gone south as soon as she heard what jean had to say. She shook her head with tears coming to her cheeks "What? I...why? Is it me? Is it because of the past? Is it because of yesterday?" She asked him. The air seemed to become isolated and slight damp when Elyon felt her whole world drop.
"I am just, I don't know. I was thinking recently. I like you a lot but you have one major thing that...I...I...I just think we shouldn't. Every time I see you I swear that I...plus there is this other girl. She kind of has been trying to do something. Also...the pla-" He seemed to fade into the background in Elyon's mind. She stood with wide eyes and felt her head droop "I am sorry. Is it because of what i did back then?" She said softly. Felicity and Melanie stood behind her in shock. The two had been shopping when they had met up with Elyon and Jean.
Elyon looked to them helplessly. Melanie ran over and held her "It's okay." She said to her in a gentle voice. The two (Jean & Elyon) had been dating almost 4 months. Felicity glared at jean "Dork. It wasn't her fault." She growled. The friends walked away. Tears came to Elyon's eyes "I am horrible. I know it happened a long time ago with a whole bunch of other crap but...why? Why now? Everything was fine afterwords." She sobbed to them. The three friends returned to the wind temple. Melanie took Elyon to her room and turned on the television while Felicity went to get cake, cookies and tea.
