Elyon breathed in to calm herself. This was going to be her first grand event. Was she ready for this? The doors to the room where the event was being held seemed to loom over her like hells gate. All her friends were in there and all were meant to be. Elyon hadn't yet been to an event, even though she was nearly sixteen years old in mortal years. In truth Elyon had always been extremely terrified of social events. She was always the one to be quiet and didn't like to move forward. When she was a child she wasn't a social butterfly, but she was the one who could be. One things was still the same, she only did what she had to do and only tried to be who she was.
The light grey-purple dress had fitted Elyon perfectly. She looked like a true goddess in it. The dress's skirt fell down to her knee's and it's hem was lace. Elyon had added a bow on the back because she thought it was proper. The sleeves were long with lace at the end and they poofed out near the top. Her back was bare except for the ribbons that were attached to the dress. She was completely worried about what would happen. Elyon took a step back. Her matching mary-janes from the Earth Terra tapped lightly. A gulp came as Elyon fidgeted with her lace collar. The servants had done a braid in her hair and told her she should not put it up what-so-ever.
"Madame? Are you okay?" A butler in a white suit asked. Elyon tried to smile "Nervous." she said weakly. The man nodded and opened the door. Elyon watched as the room's light filled the hall way. When the doors were completely open Elyon saw everything. There was a stairs that lead down to the main floor. The floor had a stage for the orchestra, tables filled with food, waiters serving the food, a dance area, and a diamond chandler hanging over it all. Above were other floors that held the same wonders but were covered by rugs and were meant to be relaxed in. Elyon bit her lip as she carefully stepped down the steps.
"Elyon!" A light, cheerful voice called. Elyon looked towards the sound to see Melanie. Her friend wore a lime green, gold strap bubble dress with gold flats, and had her hair up in a messy bun tied up with pearls. Melanie had also worn gold jewelry for her arms and neck. Elyon noticed Felicity talking with Eric, her ex-boyfriend. Felicity turned to smile at Elyon. Her friend had decided to go with a floor length, empire waits gown in a cerulean blue and the skirt spread out like a ball gowns. Like Melanie, Felicity had decided to go with no sleeves but instead, straps. The ruffles were a light grey or silver, her heel were silver.
