Tears fall from my face as I look in your eyes,
I look down and weep more than ever,
My head falling into my hands as the tears stream like a river.
You pull me into your arms and hold me,
Stroking my hair calmly,
Kissing my forehead,
And sweetly whispering to me saying, "Calm down angel. Shh, shh, shh."
I see my glistening eyes as I peek at you underneath my lashes,
Hug myself closer to your muscular body,
And bury my face into the warmth of your musky neck.
You whisper, "Tell me what's wrong honey. Please."
I look at you through my tears and answer back simply, "My past."
Your eyes travel to my lips and you look back to my eyes,
Taking my face in between your hands,
Wiping my last tear away,
Before kissing me with as much passion as you possibly can.
Now, our breathing is ragged,
Making it hard to talk,
So I just lay my head against your shoulder and wipe my eyes.
"Are you ok now?" You say calmly, rubbing my back.
I nod and close my eyes to your touch,
Parting my lips,
But omitting no sound at all.
