Background: Hatsumi is a young high school student with a great mind and great magical skill. Her parents are both over seas doing business with other companies. Her family owns one of the most popular toy companies in Japan, and have gone over sea's to branch out their company more. Her family, the Nakamura family is also rich on its own because of its nobility. Since her parents are away she is living in her family’s apartment in the northern part of Shinjuku, Tokyo alone. In school Hatsumi is admired quite a bit even though she is just being herself. She is at the top of the class and is captain of the Archery club. For some odd reason she is admired because of her cool, intellectual, silent and calm air. She doesn’t like to speak much and isn't a social butterfly. She'll often be called to a secret rendezvous to be asked out, but ends up declining most of the time. Due to Hatsumi being very perceptive, hard-working and skilled she can be a good person to be friends with. When it comes to magic she is determined, strong-willed and tends to get a bit irritated when it comes to things she has earned and others seemingly do bad things to achieve, meaning she has a very just point of view. A lot of the time you’ll find Hatsumi with the two other top-ranked girls in the school, Kasuga & Yasuko. You’ll here whispers in the halls about the group of three because they are 'unusual' in some views. When Hatsumi states something it is usually followed because of who she is, and her ranking. She doesn't get along with those that slack off and don't realize that actions have an after effect. She finds them troublesome, and dislikes it. When a problem, in or out of school occurs she thinks before she acts and tries her best to analyze the situation. Deep down Hatsumi is very kind, charitable, feminine and thoughtful. Of course she doesn't like showing it right away. Hatsumi was brought up to be a proper child and was surrounded by business. This may be why she is admired, because of her grace and business like ways.
