"Mar. 14th; 20xx
"...and for some reason, I couldn't seem to look away from the boy running down the center of the field. His skin was shining, turning and twirling like a dancer on stage; a blinding sensation in his gaze. But those green eyes... they took my breath away. So many thoughts in my mind, and those bright, vivid, and completely clear green eyes caught my attention the most.
"I sketched his eyes, and I realized... I couldn't do it right. I had tried every technique I knew; everything I remembered from my 16 years of drawing. For once in my life, there was a feeling I couldn't draw, couldn't write, couldn't even describe. Such a beautiful gaze he held while he played..."
"Mar. 15th 20xx
"I saw her again. She was sitting on top of the hill, and it looked like she was sketching. Then again, she was always sketching. I've always wondered what went into that journal of hers, but Yui is just so quiet, it's hard to ask. Besides, I'm a jock; why should I even care about some artsy girl?
"...but she's just so fragile, as pale as snow, and as shy as they come. I don't get it. Why am I so obsessed with this girl? Shouldn't I be going after a cheerleader, like Madison, or something? But noo, I have to be attracted to the half Asian girl.
"I, Jonathon Ellsworth, am a pathetic excuse for a soccer player. But F*CK, her eyes are just so CUTE!"
-
As an artist, Yui never let her feeling overflow, unless it was on paper.
She controlled herself. She never loved anything too much, exclude art, never hated something too much... exclude sports. Soccer to be exact. Why, she would never tell. But a scar on her right leg told a tale.
But while in the park, a boy dribbling a soccer ball flew past her like he was flying with a set of white wings. Entranced, Yui tried to follow him, but failed. But Yui didn't forget, and immediately began working on a masterpiece she called, "Weightless." The work won several awards, including ones at her high school. But no one could tell the inspiration was a soccer player.
But the soccer player didn't forget either. Meet Jonathon; an ace in the sport of soccer with a few secrets up his sleeves. After passing the, "angel," or Yui, Jon couldn't get her out of his mind. When he saw, "Weightless," on display in his school, Jon was ecstatic. The name on the work? Yui.
Problem was that there were hundreds of Yui's at his school, since Westminster had a popular exchange program. Which one was she? As the two tried to figure out who was on the other side of that pathway in the park that day, the two slowly walk closer and closer.
Can the two open up?
