Ugh. Got my Chemistry test back. I did better than the first attempt, but it's still a pretty bad score.
Today was interesting, ever since I got up this morning. I was feeling unusually awake, so while I was waiting for it to be time to leave for the bus, I flipped it onto MTV. They showed some of the weirdest and coolest videos. One of them was that new Destiny's Child song, "Lose My Breath". It was like they cloned the group like 3 times, because there were three sets of Destiny's Child, and they were all battling each other. The funniest part was when they have to do that part in the song where they actuall breathe hard. They grabbed some dust and blew it off their hands. Don't ask me why I though that was funny, maybe it was the earliness.
After that was a song called, "Walking Tall". The song has a good message, and the video's not half bad, either. But it was weird, because they used a "little person" as the main protagonist, and in this city he lived in, he was discrimnated just like Black people used to be. They had shorter water fountains for him to reach, and the father of te girl he falls in love with and his friends try to kill him by setting fire to his house. But while they're preoccupied, he runs off with her on a motorcycle, and I'm guessing they live happily ever after...... sweatdrop
At school, Ms. Southern was back in time to collect the assignment I forgot to do. Apparently, yesterday was her birthday, and she, in her twenty years of being a teacher, had never worked on her birthday. Turns out she got sick, and had to take her injured dog, Mattie, to the vet. Needless to say her birthday was nothing short of crap. I think I'm going to buy her a card. I know a little bit about crappy Birthdays.
When Kelly came home today, we went to the store to get some stuff to make Lasagna. I actually got to make most of it, and now I can pretty much make it myself. She said it wasn't bad, but I loved it so much I snuck a third helping when she went to sleep, which I'm eating right now. blaugh
