Tatsu_The_Dragon: Earlier that day the sun had been bright with joy, and the day seemed promising. All would go as usual wit school; The boys would hit on girls, attempting to peek at there underwear, tease one another and such, while girls would giggle a bit, feel violated but happy, talk of the latest idol and enjoy themselves like the boys. All the teachers would start of peppy, and attempt to get everything done so that they too could enjoy the sun.
Akimitsu had entered her classes with the same gentle smile being greeted by a few of her classmates, asked a question like “How was your breakfast” or “Can I have your notes for…” and it would be cool. Though, around lunch something terrible had happened. She had just stepped out of the bathroom to see her classroom empty. Maybe everyone had gone outside? No, it was raining. When had that happened? Clouds hung over the area like death awaiting souls, and the rain fell unforgivably. When Akimitsu learned this she checked into the halls, they to be empty. Her fear began to trill into the song of existence.
“What where…is...” Her eyes began to water as she ran around the school. Akimitsu could find no one, not her friends. That’s when she entered the roof. A smile came when she saw who stood there, Katori, her closest friend! Her friend turned and made Akimistu tremble, her friend’s eyes were white. ‘Katori’ gave a twisted grin before vanishing like sand in the wind. What was happening?
As a mystic or spiritual master Akimitsu could feel spirits, especially evil ones. It was like a strange buzzing sound for evil spirits, and for good it was a light, tickly feeling. This feeling was strong, and sounded like a horde of wasps. She saw a large, scary dragon-like figure land with a thud. It seemed to be a hazy black mist. What? Akimitsu stared at it “You!” She pointed a finger. The evil spirit cackled “I am Tribond! I am the demonic hand who has caused this, young mystical!” He roared to her. Akimitsu dropped to her knees “So, you did this? You took them, there very being…and made them…eidolon?” Her tone was flat. Akimitsu stared at him, he was about to attack her. That’s when she looked to the ground, concentrated on whatever she could find. Had he gotten Itsuki as well? If so, that would have been quite a thing.
The spirit had made sure the school was secluded, so he could obtain his goal. If a spirit obtained more spirits, or eidolon, human essence (life energy causing them to vanish into transparency, meaning they no longer exist) he would have great strength. Considering the amount of students, he obtained a lot. Akitmitsu immediately screamed for teleportation, hoping to get into one of the lower classroom with curtains. Luckily she did, and when Akitmistu arrived she summoned a barrier. She needed to think, but it was long till the spirit had her cornered, and weakened on top of the building attempting to sit up.
Unholy Archangel: The sound of tires squealing filled the air in front of Itsuki’s academy as he stepped out of the white BMW. His eyes glistening their ashen traits as he stared at the towering school building. The vehicle clicked on its turn signal and entered the flow of traffic the moment Itsuki’s feet approached the school grounds. His shortly trimmed blonde hair shifted in the unnatural current of the wind, “Spirit,” the single word breached his lips in a low volume. Itsuki took a few steps forward before reaching out his right hand for the gates of the school. A sizzle and crack of electricity greeted the tips of his fingers and he withdrew his extended arm. “Dimensional Barrier,” he stated at the phenomena which kept him away from the school. A solemn breeze swept up a flock or sakura blossoms into the air, all of which began to revolve around Itsuki.
The sakuras began to merge together into four characters, each representing a different cardinal direction. “God of the East, Amei by name. God of the West, Shukuryou by name. God of the South, Kyojou by name. God of the North, Kugyou by name. Gods of the four seas, scatter the hundred-fold demons, Disperse the malevolence...” as he stated each name, the individual character illuminated under each corresponding command. With the slight of his hand, Itsuki short forth a mistletoe arrow and finished the chant, “Immeadiately as in Ancient Law!” A bolt of spiritual power compressed and traced closely behind the arrow, piercing through the alternate dimension with ease.
As he stepped through the dimensional rift in time and space, Itsuki watched as the sky transformed from the elegant and alluring blue sky into a pale gray, depressing sky with not a single cloud in sight. The sound of Akimitsu’s scream resonated through the air, chilling the atmosphere with terror. Gritting his teeth, Itsuki dashed across the soulless schoolyard. He drew up his sleeve and snapped the chain link coiled around his wrist. “Byakuei!” Itsuki shouted with ferocity to his voice as the sound of jingling shackled filled the air. The summoning seal appeared on Itsuki’s back and the white Spiritual Beast, Byakuei, emerged. Leaping onto its incomplete form he whipped the chain in an upward motion, “To the sky,” he commanded. The Dragon obeyed, jolting upward in a swift movement. As they bolted through the air, Itsuki’s anticipation began to rise steadily, “You better be ok,” he said to himself as they reached the rooftop.
His eyes caught a glimpse of the black dragon which was targeting Akimitsu. Jumping from Byakuei’s back, he rolled across the surface of the rooftop until the soles of his shoes skid him to a halt. “Devour, Byakuei,” Itsuki said as he ran over to the weakening Akimitsu. “Are you alright?” his voice conveyed his immediate concern as he examined her from the other side of her barrier.
Tatsu_The_Dragon: Was this her time to die? No, she wasn’t strong today, and this wasn’t her normal. Could this all be a dream? Akimitsu had never felt so weak, and pathetic since she was but a child. What could she do? Her barrier hadn’t been strong to start off with, and her nightfire wouldn’t have worked. That’s’ when her body began to tingle excessively. A scream came from her lips when the evil spirit began to devour her but he didn’t get her much, only part of her essence. Akimitsu felt herself staring at someone, but whom?
A familiar voice drifted to her ears. Itsuki? It seemed she spoke his name without thinking to do so. So, she turned herself over a bit. Relief came when she saw his angelic eyes, light blond hair, and handsome face. A gentle and pure smile like the sun’s warmth came to Akimitsu’s lips “Itsuki…your late.” Her words were simple, full of playfulness. Her body had bruises all over, was wet, and it seemed that a few bones could have been chattered. Of course, she had been thrown across the area, and slammed into the ground.
The blue lavender irises flickered with pain as she stared at him for a brief set of moments. She felt so weak right now, and could only manage to stay on the ground. She looked up at him “I couldn’t do anything; I went to the bathroom…I checked everywhere, and found no one….so sorry.” Her voice was hoarse.
That’s when tears came “I…tried…but…he t-took everyone, including Ka-chan. And Mister Fumi, everyone. I put up a barrier, and tried to see what I could do, but I…my spirits fire didn’t work.” Her tone was soft again nearing the end of her sentence. Akitmitsu looked down in guilt “I didn’t do good, but…” She stared at the creature for a few moments. Her eyes were beginning to close “He was strong, I ran…and he kept smashing to my protection barrier…I was…thrown back.” It was beginning to hurt to do anything now.
Akitmitsu grimaced from the pain flooding her body “I was trying my best, but I hadn’t had lunch…so…that’s; the solution” She bit her lip trying to stop the tears. Blood began dripping from her lip “I’m glad you’re here.” Her face was a full of joy, relief and a sincere smile. Her gaze avoided his “I am so sorry, I couldn’t do much. I am…so weak…I…should have…” because now she was causing him trouble, that’s why the words came
“I’ll…try to get an opening for you to come in fully…Bya-sama needs you in order…” Akimitsu stopped with eyes wide. What Byakuei? She had just realized what Istuki had done. He had summoned Byakuei! She looked at him with her mouth slightly open, eyes widened with worry and a pinch of fear, and eye brows raised in realization. What was he doing…Byakuei…was his weapon, yes but it had a price. Akitmitsu felt a large and burning pain fill her entire body causing her to lurch forward. The main barrier (She put it up a long time ago.) surrounding the school flickered meaning that all outside were not safe, and on top of that Itsuki, who was on the secondary barriers side only surrounding the roof to a certain extent, wasn’t safe either.
Everything seemed to be screaming to Akimtsu. She shut her mouth, and stared at Itsuki “Itsu-kun…it hurts…” She managed to say with a grimace. Why did it hurt so much? Was she really that weak? No, tears had stopped moments ago, and she felt them starting again. Her eyes drifted to Itsuki “Itsu…I…Byakuei…he’ll…I know…he is…but…you’ll…” but she couldn’t say anything more, knowing he had done it, maybe for her? If she had done more he wouldn’t have had to.
Unholy Archangel: Itsuki gave a forced laugh when Akimitsu joked around his timing, “I’m glad you are ok besides those injuries,” he voiced soothingly. Smiling back at her, his ashen eyes watched her as she spoke in fragments. “You did well,” Itsuki reassured her, “Now let me handle this” he said as the black dragon’s tail pierced the roofing in front of Akimitsu’s barrier, blowing Itsuki to the other side of the roof. Coughing as the smoke began to clear from the attack. He stood up with haste and avoided another strike, reaching for his wrist bracelet in order to retrieve a mistletoe arrow. “Hail! With the divine protection of the mistletoe which dwells in neither Heaven nor Earth, pierce through the calamity in the West!” the blonde haired, ashen eyed teen shouted. His hand moved in a fluent motion, casting forth the arrow which pierced the evil spirits hide with an impact of great force.
Itsuki guided his attention back to Akimitsu as he ran across the rooftop which had evolved into a battlefield within a matter of moments. “Byakuei, Strike him down!” Itsuki commanded just as the black dragon reared up and a purple energy began to gather in front of its jaws. Analyzing the particles quickly, he concluded that it was in fact Eidolon. His eyes widened as Byakuei was but a moment too late to stop the attack. A blast of condensed Eidolon hurdled toward Itsuki and ignited upon the rooftop, destroying the section of building where he was. His nearly unconscious body fell through the air with no restraint, Is this it? he thought to himself in disbelief. Clenching his fist, Itsuki raised his head as he glided through the air. “No!” he voiced in retaliation, focusing spirit particles to the soles of his shoes, Itsuki landed in mid-air.
Shakily, he stood up against the inevitable pain which consumed him. “Akimitsu, everything will be alright,” Itsuki voiced as he slowly paced back toward the building. Byakuei dug its fangs deeply into the scaled neck of its opponent, the black dragon roared in agony. Whipping it’s around wildly, the foe forced more and more of the building to crumble. Itsuki gripped tightly onto the soul-bound shackles which binded Byakuei to him. Pulling sharply on the chained reigns, Byakuei flew away from the injured dragon and returned to its master’s side. Still, Itsuki’s steps were slow and calm although a few drops of blood trickled down his head and a solid stream of blood steadily flowed from his left arm. Taking in a solemn deep breath before he spoke, “With the core of power, and imitating the temples I plead, bind the seeds of calamity to the earth, and hold it within your arms, unto the land from day till night!” he proclaimed as Byakuei vanished into spirit particles once more. Grabbing onto the shackles which remained, Ituski threw them around the opponent and watched as they coiled tightly around it. A red moon had appeared in the pale colored dimension, illuminating it in a terrifyingly beautiful light.
“Hail! The Holy light which opposes the evil of this world, do not allow this being to gain entry upon your threshold. With the blessings of the Gods of the four seas, I command thee to perish!” Itsuki exclaimed as his enchained hand reached forward. An orb of blinding light had begun to form in the palm of his hand, screeching loudly as the power condensed massively. His pace began to hasten from his slow walk through a smooth jog into a full blown sprint. “Leave this world!” Itsuki stated triumphantly as he drew back the chained arm, dug his foot into the ground no more than a single foot away from the dragon, and blasted forth his arm. The demon screamed loudly as beams of light began to pierce through its dark body. After a few moments, the entire dragon had disappeared without a trace. Turning slowly to face Akimitsu, he walked burdensomely back to her. Dropping to his knees as he finally managed to reach the barrier which had shielded her. “Are you alri-” his voice trailed off as his eyes dulled and he fell to the roof with a thud. His breathing became unsteady and cumbersome as he lay, motionless, upon the floor.
Tatsu_The_Dragon: Had she? Akimitsu still didn’t think she had done well, but if felt nice to see he thought so, because it meant her entire soul to her. When he smiled at her joke, she had felt her heart flutter like a butterfly’s wings. After all, she was no more then a butterfly at heart, delicate but yet had something to her. When he said he could handle it, Akimitsu stared at him wanting to tell him to run, to hide and it wasn’t worth his trouble.
The first thing Akimitsu did was stare; watch as Itsuki did is elegant motions to summon forth whatever spell he needed, this time a mistletoe arrow. Everything that Akimitsu saw Itsuki do, she felt herself begin to worry. At what price would all this cost? Everything he did with Byakuei came at a price, a price Akimitsu despised. Why shouldn’t she? It was risking something to defeat something, and there was no guarantee when it came to battle, because the person could loose. Either way, life was lost or some payment had to be made. She slowly began to sit up, hoping to be able assist.
Suddenly she felt herself reach out to Itsuki, a piece of the building was obliterated, right before and Itsuki had been standing on it. Her friend was beginning to fall “Itsuki! No! Not in all of heaven! Not you!” She scrambled after him with her hand weakly reaching out; her knees gave way at the attempt. She screamed her pleas and he managed to see him save himself. His words of comfort didn’t help, because even she knew, that this was not alright.
Akimitsu lay on the ground, even weaker from attempting to assist and she watched her friend call his beast back, with stress lifting, only a small amount though. There was still the matter of the beast, the malicious and blasphemes spirit, who had dared consume the souls of those she cared for.
Yet, she thought of dared as an enraged word of power, but she herself had been to pathetic to stop it. At Itsuki’s words Akimistu looked down, the red moon, he had called to it. It was gorgeus, but the sight made her weep, because it meant that another treasure, another life, another heart was about to be….no, she couldn’t finish the thought. It was to heart-aching to do so. As a shrine-child, Akimitsu treasured life, and souls, and precious things. Her Father had described her as “A blessed angel, who’s tears bring even the cruellest emperor to his knee’s, and warring countries to realization.” Because of how innocent and pure she was in all her being. Was that true? Then why hadn’t she been able to do anything with it?
A chill went up Akitmistu’s back when Itsuki was about to ask if she was okay, and collapsed. Her eyes widened, no, no, and no! Some how she managed to sit up “Itsuki? No, don’t black, not on me…we defeated him…everything will be alright, I just have to-“ but she was silenced. Her gaze looked straight ahead at two people. One was an elderly man who was shorter then her, brilliant grey hair, soul-searching blue eyes, and seemed to have a wise-welcoming essence to him, he wore a green shirt with casual jeans and flip-flops. Beside him was a women with shoulder length brown hair, permed with hair clips, a motherly smile wa son he rlips, along with the usual denim jeans, light-pink spaghetti straptop and denim jacket. These people were Akimitsu’s Mother and Grandfather.
Akimistu’s Mother, Chiaki rushed over and held her “Aki-chan, I…’ but she was silenced by her Grandfather, who nodded to Akimitsu. She knew what he was saying, without him needing to say it. Her mother smiled ‘When we get home…we’ll clean you and Itsuki-san up, havbe a nice dinner…and he can stay the night…and you will be staying home tomorrow, and him too…” she then went quiet again, and helped her daughter up, then waited. Akimitsu went down to the courtyard, with them following, and her grandfather holding Itsuki, surprisingly for one so small. Akimitsu breathed in “Billowing winds from the sweet grass fielded, shining star that guides on, blessed goddess hear my prayer.” She was singing a song, even though she didn’t have the prettiest voice. Her eyes shut “Seven bells ring in harmony, one heart glitters under the moon, blessed goddess I beg thee.” And slowly the sky began to drop tiny, gold lights. They were warm, gentle and full of life. Carefully everything was changing, souls returning, and everything being set right.
Though, Itsuki remained unchanged even thought everyone was being brought back. This spell wouldn’t affect him, she’d fix him later. Once the spell was done Akimitsu, Akito & Chiaki returned home. They set Itsuki is Akimitsu’s room where she put her hands on his chest, letting a golden light surround him, hoping he’d heal. She worked into the night, and fell asleep beside him.
Unholy Archangel: Silent breaths exhaled from Itsuki as he slept, soundly. He turned from one side to the other before his eyes, slowly, flickered open and he awoke. “Where am I?” he asked in a hushed whisper while he examined his surroundings, still half-awake. His head began to throb violently as he recalled the events, “Hehe. Guess I used too much,” Itsuki joked as he looked beside him to see the sleeping Akimitsu. His face became slightly red from blushing before he silently jumped back from her. When did I get here? He asked himself. Sighing, he leaned his back against the wall and watched as she slept.
Itsuki moved his hand from his side to his chest, and felt the presence of Akimitsu. “You didn’t need to do that,” he voiced to her, “But thank you all the same,” he thanked her although she probably wouldn’t hear it. A gentle smile appeared on his face as he tilted his head ever so slightly and continued to watch her sleep. “She is just as amazingly cute when she is asleep as when she is awake,” Itsuki noted to himself as he stood up. Ruffling his hair until it returned to its original state, he felt Byakuei move around unsettlingly inside his soul. Clenching his hand on his chest heavily, he drew in deep breaths and regained his composure.
He closed his eyes and replayed Akimitsu’s singing voice over and over, “Although others may be famous for their voices. You sing just as beautifully just as much,” he commented to her soundlessly. Itsuki smiled purely as he walked over to Akimitsu and lay down beside her. His gaze focused on the ceiling, sneaking a few glances at her as he lay no more than a few inches from her. (Sorry it's so short.)
Tatsu_The_Dragon: The stars were a dazzling array for the evening, which always sent Akitmitsu into a joyful awe. If only she were awake to see them, but yet, the girl was sleeping beside someone she cared for. There were only delicate breaths and every few moments a murmur of her dreams. Akimitsu turned slightly and brought her hands to her chest, clasping them “Itsuki…there is…” but her words fell due to her only sleeping. Grand Father Akito had healed everything he could, all that remained were some scars on her back, which didn’t bother her so much because they were only small, and she thought they looked like a heart.
A breeze played with some dust outside of the house, where the shrine lay. It would soon be dawn, and an hour later Akimitsu would get up due to habit. Her Mother still insisted she stay home, even though she seemed a lot better. Though, it was due to the fact she had been out in rain. A childish sneeze came from Akimistu “Memmmrmm…” She moved closer to whatever warmth could. Her arm reached for Itsuki and she immediately snuggled into him, again another habit.
In her dream she was in a grassy field, a pretty lady sat with her on a bench, her hair was up in a series of loops, but it feel behind her back. She wore a Jūnihitoe in vibrant blues that swirled like the sky, lustful reds, and soothing greens with hints of gold flecks, while a sheer pink shawl was wrapped around her.
The women smiled at Akimitsu “You did well, I am proud of you granddaughter of Akito.” The women told Akimitsu. Akimitsu looked down out of guilt. She wore a hakama due to the style of the dream. On her feet were the usual geta, and Akimitsu’s hair was in a bun. The girl sighed “I don’t think so; I didn’t manage to get rid of it before Itsuki came.” Her tone was full of disappointment. The women smiled “Well, of course not. Your abilities are not meant to harm, or destroy for it is always…so…so…pernicious, but must be done at times. You, my dear child, your abilities allow you to protect those who you wish to, especially those you care about.” Her tone was soft, and the women touched Akitmitsu’s cheek.
“But, I wasn’t able to-“Akimtsu stopped. The women touched her lips, hushing her “You are more powerful then you think, right now you are a small caterpillar, and when the time comes you’ll spread your wings, inspire many with the radiance of your heart and you’ll shine ever so brightly.”
Meanwhile outside of the dream, a spirit of a young girl entered the room. This spirit was of Akimitsu’s first friend, who died of lung cancer only six years ago. The girl had wavy black hair falling down her back, bright eyes, flip-flops and a yellow summer-dress on. She smiled at her friend “It is so sincere, how she tried her best, even at her weakest.” Her friend, Kana said to Itsuki. The spirit sighed and shook her head “Many would believe that is a weakness, and it is at times. She cares for you, deeply. I hope you realize that? Please, do be careful.” Kana said again. Then Kana kissed Akimitsu’s cheek “Don’t do anything while I am gone. I promise to return.” She whispered to Akimitsu, and disappeared into the night.
Akimitsu stirred again, and began to wake up. She slowly opened her eyes, they fluttered as she woke “Mrm…” and she sat up slowly. The room was silent, and Akimitsu sat up in a daze “Good Morning,” She mananged out. Her hair was a complete rats nest, and her eyes still had sleep on them. Earlier in the evening her mother demanded she changed, so Akitmitsu had put on a pink silk night gown, with lace on the hem. The night-dress had straps, instead of sleeves, and Akitmitsu always felt nice in the outfit. She blinked with a strap falling down her shoulder “Itsuki?” She said as if questioning. A smile came to her delicate lips “Your okay! I was so worried, I can’t believe I fell asleep. Do you need anything to eat? What time is it? I hope that you were okay sleeping in my bed.” Her tone was full of pure delight. She leaned toward him asking the questions.
Unholy Archangel: The boy with ashen eyes and hair of blonde looked through the thin, glass-paned window. They searched the starry sky and stared in awe of the magnificent beauty of each speckle which was the equivalent of the dawn of tomorrow. As twilight, the darkest and most brilliant spectacle of the night, passed, Itsuki scanned the ceiling above him. Imagining the twilight sky illuminated by the pale moonlight and glittering stars, he gave a gentle smile at the imagery. He let out a silent sigh just before he heard the faint murmuring of Akimitsu who lay, sound asleep, beside him. Turning his head slightly, he glanced at her bewitching face. Leaning closer, almost as if to make his lips meet Akimitsu’s, he, however, stopped when she spoke his name, followed slowly by a fragmented sentence that revealed nothing of which she intended to speak.
Gaining distance between them, Itsuki took in a brief shallow breath before exhaling it. “I wonder why she spoke my name?” he asked himself in a low voice. He laughed when Akimitsu gave a small sneeze, “Bless you,” he said with a warm smile upon his lips. Her next action wasn’t predicted by Itsuki, his face flushed red when she snuggled up to him. A soft breath passed his lips as he went along with her sleeping habit, attempting to cease a majority of his movement so as to not disturb her slumber. He stared at her and imagined her enticing eyes looking back at him. The thought was pleasant and made him smile affectionately.
Itsuki lifted his hand from his side and avoided Akimitsu’s grasp and placed it in a free position. He slowed his breathing and remained silent, his thought encircling through his mind over and over like a record which didn’t know how to stop playing the same song. His eyes became serious the moment he sensed a spirit, readying his gloved hands in case of an attack. Itsuki just blinked in surprise when a girl wearing a yellow-summer dress entered the room. He listened to the spirit’s words, Perhaps a childhood friend of Akimitsu? he thought to himself. He gave an acknowledging look before smiling, “I think I know. I feel the same way,” he said in a voice expressing passionate feelings.
Itsuki’s ashen eyes watched as the summer dressed girl kissed her friend before disappearing as the dawn appeared. Smiling at Akimitsu as she looked around in a daze, “Good morning, sleepy,” he joked as he sat up also. His face reddened slightly when Itsuki saw the nightgown which was hidden under the covers originally. “I am fine and well the sun is just peaking over the horizon,” Itsuki said, gesturing toward the mountains in the distance. “I really appreciate your courtesy and help. Thank you for all your hard work,” he said kindly but stumbled off the bed as she leaned closer to him, slowly, more and more. Turning his head away before it completely flushed red, he let off a sigh and stood up from his fall. “So? Are you ok?” Itsuki inquired, seeing as he was a little late the night before to defend her from the evil spirit.
Tatsu_The_Dragon: A frown formed “For your information, I-“Akimitsu stopped to stare at him in worry. What was wrong with him? He seemed to be so…so…strange with his actions. Was something wrong with her? Had she grown whiskers over night? His face was slightly red, like a cherry-blossom or maybe something redder? Cherry blossoms were pink, not red. She looked down and realized she was wearing a night gown, which made her turn red as well. Even one of the straps was falling off slightly! How embarrassing! Immediately Akimitsu turned away “I…am sorry, I grabbed the first thing I could. I didn’t want to leave you alone to long, because you seemed to…be so exhausted.” Her words were stuttered from the discomfort.
“I am so glad okay! I was worried, because I didn’t really…do a good job. Grandfather said I should have waited a bit, but I ignored him, obviously. He also said because of how much emotional turmoil I was having, that he should have done. In the end he managed to say I did good, but, personally as longs as you were okay, I didn’t care what his analysis is. ” A sigh of relief came from Akimitsu, and she leaned back on her hand. It felt so great to know she had at least been worth something. All of sudden she sniffled “I was so worried, that I’d not…I…” She wiped away the bit of tears that had come.
The room seemed to be peaceful for the most part, except for the still, rapidly beating heart of Akimitsu. Akimitsu blinked at him in disbelief “Dawn? You got up at dawn?” Her tone was full of surprise. Why had he when he must be so tired? Or was he even tired? She just looked at him softly, with her eyes half-closed “Well, I guess the early bird gets the worm.” She told him, even though it had nothing to do with the situation.
“It was nothing really, though tell Mom that. She almost blew a gasket when she saw what I was attempting to do.” A giggle came from Akimitsu. She watched as Itsuki stumbled away a bit “Itsuki…” A gentle smile came to her lips. Then a sad look followed when eh turned his head away from her. Didn’t he know? She just shook her head “I am okay, for the most part.” She managed to say slowly, while her gaze was to the floor.
That’s when a mew came from the door and Akimitsu saw Coco, her cat. The apple-headed Siamese stared at them as if saying “Just get on with it.” and that made her laugh in humour due to the comedy in the stare. Akimitsu crawled over to pet the feline to pet its soft, and silky cream-colored fur. A purr came from the cat “Mrooooooow.” Coco replied from the touch of her mistress.
Akimitsu slowly stood up to turn to Itsuki “Well, you should have a shower, and then get changed into something. I won’t be having one, because I had one last night.” Her tone was full of life. Coco, scampered off without another comment about the situation. A eyebrow raised “Okay Coco, I’ll get your milk soon. I’ll make breakfast soon, I will try to make it simple, but no promises.” She paused for a minute to think. Her Mother had insisted on her staying home for the day after the incident from yesterday. The lavender eyes of Akimitsu were now consumed with apology “Mom wants me home for the day, so I won’t be going to school with you. I mean, if you are going to school, if your staying home then now worried, because it is Friday and all.” She told him with a few hand gestures, due to her talking with her hands.
“But, I promise to stop by at lunch; I’ll bring a huge boxed lunch! After all, I’ll be grocery shopping today. Grandfather says that he doesn’t mind if I am up and about, because as long as long as..” Akimitsu stopped to turn red. She was about say ‘as long as it’s for Itsuki’ but she had to stop herself. Akimitsu smiled brightly “Katori will be extremely annoyed, she won’t have someone to copy notes off of, poor Katori!” and she began to gather her clothing for the day with one glance at Itsuki. Did he want to watch her change? Her brown wisps were in a complete mess, and sad eyes sparkling with curiosity.
