A/N I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE.
I don't know why, but it seems like a really good plot line to me.
Just thought I should say that biggrin
-
"You ninny! Why can't you see it?"
"See what?" He barked angrily. "I'm sick and tired of your twisted games! What the hell do you want from me?!"
"I want you to repent for what you did!"
He paused, then made a face. "I did nothing to deserve this!"
"Yes you did, boy!" She snarled fiercely, completely changing his impression of her. At first, she seemed mellow, but this Kylee spirit was a B!TCH to deal with when mad. "All you had to do was tell her to run! She was so close to getting her dream-"
"SHUT UP!"
"No, YOU shut up!" Kylee came down from the top of the set, and floated right in his face. "You may not remember, but I do! Both Michelle and Ashley were shot here, and it could have all been prevented if you had just. Said. The. Cue. To. Run."
He held back slightly before exploding back at her. "You think I wanted someone to die at my hands?! HM?! ********, if I had my way, I'd go back to my past self, and slap myself silly!"
"Ha, like Devin would take that from you-"
"So his name was Devin?"
"EEP!" Kylee cursed to herself, and said, "Fine. Yes, your past self's name was Devin. Devin Trusse. And he was one of the finest agents who had ever lived, but he had failed at the wrong time."
"Okay, I got it! My past self killed my current girlfriend's past life. But that's in the past! I can change it!"
"Do you really think so?" The spirit challenged. "Can you change it when you have a gun pointed to your head?"
"...what?" He shook his head. "But you said you were the one who was guarding me from that! So I wouldn't get threatened-"
Kylee looked away. "D@mnit all to hell. You and Dev act the same ******** way," she spat. "I was killed by the gun your past self was threatened with! And I decided not to be reincarnated so I could try to stop you from being afraid!"
He didn't let the info sink in. "Of what? Dying?"
"No." She leaned in. "Of losing her."

In the year 1988, a five-man team was sent to a theatre on Broadway to stop one of the most horrifying terrorist acts of all time from happening: later on, known as the Final Act. The first and only attack from terrorists that killed almost three hundred... except one.
The team had major years on the field, and were the best of the best from the FBI, and from SWAT. The Captain was Devin Trusse, and Co-Captain was Shelby Corbel. The technician was Caesar Chavez, the strategist was Taylor Ling, and the medic was Megan James.
Each had their talents: Megan knew the art of espionage and ventriloquism, Shelby could memorize information with a photographic memory, Taylor could easily read a person and lie to them, Caesar was an excellent gaining information by means of casual conversation, and Devin was a delicate mixture of them all, and his personality made people vulnerable near him.
Including Shelby, who fell in an irrevocable love for him. But Devin never noticed. But over the course of being the lead male, and her, the lead female, they grew close to the point Devin was unconsciously attached to the light-hearted, but sad Shelby.
The team, known as TCTCJ, was with this innocent theatre group for years; often forgetting a group of them were terrorists.
But on the final day of the show, the time when they were most popular, the terrorists made their move. Taylor, who had been working with the lighting, and was supposed to stop this from happening. She was knocked out, and killed last. Megan was the first one to do, and was shot three times. Second was Shelby, who was caught off guard. Caesar was killed second to last, and had fought to the end. Devin couldn't forget the dying man's face, nor any of the tortured audience members'.
They had locked the doors; no one escaped. Except Devin, who only lived because the terrorists let him. And for the rest of his life (which lasted five short months) Devin mourned his comrades and friends. He would always think:
"If I could only start again, I would do everything right. I would tell Shelby I loved her, and I would have told Meg to run. I would have made sure that only my life would have to be taken, not of hers, of the actors, of the audience... no one else's."
Devin Trusse died mysteriously on November 23rd, 1993.
That same day, across the nation, a young girl was born. They named her Ashley Smith. Growing up, Ashley had the strange ability to throw her voice, and would often dress herself up to the point no one could recognize her.
Next, Michelle Chavarria took her first breath. Throughout her years growing up, she had the skills of a genius; constantly remembering little details. She was able to remember every word and definition from a dictionary.
Third was Romare Igig. Romare had always loved video games, and he was probably the most personable gamers ever. He was able to fix a computer from scratch by the age of nine.
Kylee Katsumata was born fourth. As her mother said, "Be observant, and watch people. Lie if you get caught." She perfected her act over the years, and can fool anyone into doing what she wants.
Lastly Steve (FORGOT DX). And he was the perfect little cocktail of all the previously mentioned people. With acting abilities, good with his hands, lying skills, and a decent memory, he was PERFECT.
But they each had their little flaws. Like Stevie easily attaches himself to others, and Michelle fell in love too fast, and too hard for him. Like Ashley's problem with her feelings for a certain boy: were they her own, or her persona? Like Kylee who realized how different a boy like Romare could be, and how blind he could be.
Born in the same area, grew up together, and went into the same profession together: FBI.
But when they are given an assignment going to Broadway, a ghost suddenly starts appearing to Stevie, the captain. She warns him of things; things that seem ridiculous, but always come true. Like when the ghost told him that he was going to see Michelle in a different light, she was right. Or when she said Ashley would trick Michelle by using his voice.
She only gives him her name: Taylor.
And things suddenly begin to happen exactly according to Taylor's predictions. When confronted about it by Stevie, who is the only one who can see her, Taylor tells him of the tale of the theatre they were acting in. A gruesome story of love, drama, lust, and loss.
One that is true.
As Stevie is thrown into the world of the past, and as he lives a life according to a horrible tragedy, he must figure out who killed Taylor and his friends' past selves, and who they are now... before time repeats itself forever.
