OK, now that someone's completed all the badges, I think I'm gonna move on soon... I just cant make myself sit there four hours a day anymore, when it quit being fun months ago. I'm sorry, but its just not fun... Maybe when they add more giftboxes in the mini events...
I'll prolly still hang out in zOMG until I finish DS9 (those of you who have been sitting with me know I've been watching TV series as I sat there) But I'm gonna take a couple of days off to burn some DVDs I've been putting off & defrag some drives.
On a side note I do wanna say I'm proud of allies & my clan, They are all some of the best people I have met on Gaia or any other game I've played.
This account has been through long periods of activity before while I played other games & prolly will again.
Plus, Gaia pulled some REALLY DISGUSTING stuff today with their "cash sponsored items" & then with their Angelic halo giveaway based on how much you spend in the cash shops.
EVERYONE knows this will end badly, most of those "sponsors" are SCAMMERS!
Why not just ask the kids to put in their parents credit card numbers?
For a free site, Gaia sure makes a s**t load of money these days. There is almost no aspect of Gaia now that doesn't want your money in one way or another. & for all this extra money has it increased the QUALITY of Gaia any?
It makes me sick!!! I'd rather play a "pay for play" game than have the game sell out to 100 diff companies.
So I figured I would download & install some of the games I use to play... Pirates Online, & Silk Road...
The problem with Silkroad was they were full of bots & there is NOBODY that's gonna care about you in Silkroad.. No mods, no admins, no support, NOTHING. & I realized this again when trying to download the game, their website links are messed up in an infinite redirect loop & wont let you log in to download the game... So I figured I'd be smart & download it from download.com, but after the 2 or 3 hour download I discovered they never sent them the most current version & after installed it sends you right back to the infinite redirect loop... so screw them.
The download for Pirates was much easier, but my account has reverted to a basic account & I cant buy a game card till this weekend. After playing unlimited I just cant make myself play the basic version. But Pirates is funded with Disney money & there is no ads & they never want extra money for extra features, & they even have customer support by phone. I've called them in the middle of the night before & they fixed my account right there. It also appears they have altered every city & island in the game, when I was looking around it was obvious that I had been gone a while, all kinds of new quests, areas, & items.
Because I couldn't download Silkroad, I thought I would download Maple Story again too, just to see.... It appears Maple Story has also expanded their cash shop as well & even gone as far as to put some sponsors stores IN THE GAME, how sad is that? But I can see Gaia doing something like that in the future.
So I'll prolly end up back in Pirates. I left Pirates almost a year ago to join the zOMG beta test.
I think I'm done with "beta" now, whether Gaia is or not.
