Background >> Well, what better way to start off then state, that Akimitsu's family owns a shrine? It has been in her family for generations, and it's purpose is to protect spirits. Which suits Akimitsu due to her abilities. Ever since she was little Akimitsu has had great spiritual abilities, and her parents treasure her due to that. The only person in her family that has them presently is her Grandfather, Shrine Master Akito. her mother used to but sadly lost them in a great sacrifice to save another. She had been a young women, and gave them up during a great battle, and to assist the gods. Her grandfather is a very wise, and careful man. He often gives Akimitsu advice when she needs it, and taught her about her powers. Akimitsu's Father has no abilities, and never has. He works in a large toy company, as the vice-president but manages to be with his family.
Akimitsu has no siblings. She isn't worried though due to how many friends she has. many love her because she is an extreme home-body (Cooking, gardening, Cleaning), and very pure. She is sweet, gentle, kind, and determined in one. At the same time she can be naive and a ditz too, which also adds the word klutzy on occasion. Her abilities allow her to assist spirits in any way she can, after all her goal is to make sure that all is at peace, protect good spirits from bad, and pass them on. Since she can not really do offensive attacks you'll often see her with another, whom she cares for greatly.
When Akimitsu was a child, a strange demonic men decided to steal her away, but didn't succeed. Why? A feirce battle that nearly destroyed her home took place. Within that time period, several sad things happened such as the loss of powers, friends and much more. Although, after a long amount of years, a lunar spirit appeared in front of Akimitsu claiming to be from the very same demonic man. Akimitsu's Mother begged not yet, it wasn't time. The spirit took pity on them and informed them that her Master would come for the girl in due time. So, the spirit left without taking Akimitsu, instead the price was for Akimitsu to be put into a sleep. Not just a normal sleep, but a golden sleep because of who she was. So many questions managed to pop up, the who Akimitsu held closest demanded answers, and he received them. What we're these answer and why did the demonic man want Akimitsu? Simple, she had great power that he wanted, and is directly connected the the Sun Goddess, meaning she is the Lady of the Sun. Akimitsu's Grandfather explained that Akimitsu needed to gain more power, thus when the demonic man attempted to steal her, the safety in herself went on, that way he'd not be able to take that power, because she wasn't active. Also, The Grandfather told the one Akimitsu held dear that they were destined, and it was his job to protect her once she awakened. It has now been two years, verging on three. It is time for her to come back from her sleeping world. She has grown during that time, but understand everything that has happened.
