Emi unlocked the door to the apartment and came in her hair and make up done. She looked gorgeous already but she didn't want Ravi to see her yet so she hurriedly headed to the bedroom.
Ravi looked out from where he was making Pavia his dinner. "Was that your mom?"
"MOM! ARE YOU HOME?!?!" Pav called.
"Yes I'm here, I'm getting ready!" she called back.
Ravi shook his head, smiling slightly. He was happier with them than he had been since he was very young.
Pav turned back to Ravi. "Yep, that was mom." he told him.
"So I heard." He moved the food onto a plate. "I need to get ready as well. You'll be alright I assume."
"Yeah, when is Becky getting here?"
He looked at the clock. "In about 45 minutes."
Pav nodded. "Alright, can I have cookies for desert?"
"Two or three, or I'll hide the jar," he told him as he headed to the bathroom for a quick shower.
Pav nodded and as he peaked into the cookie jar there was only two or three in there. Emi had gotten smart and hid the rest in a tupperware container.
