Love can be painful and it can be joyous.
But is love ever painfully joyous?
The look of the Lover's Stare is joyous.
And, yet, it brings painful memories to the hearts of some.
Hearts that will never once again be mended,
Because of the damage that’s been done to them.
The heart that beats in my chest,
It is one of these horribly damaged hearts.
I have found the only way to mend it,
That’s by loving you.
