My Persona 4 Team ^o^ (Beware, image heavy) |

During the wee hours of the night when I can’t sleep, I usually play P4 just for the heck of it. I’ve been through 500+ hours of going through the game so far, and I managed to perfect a few Personae that suit my style of play. When I have this team, It’s almost a given that I’ll never lose a random battle or boss fight on any difficulty level.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Helel.jpg) Helel was the first functional Persona I made, modified from an Ultimate Helel recipe by a Japanese resource. He was built for the express purpose of pure defense and dungeon crawling, thanks to the number of passive repels and absorbs introduced into his skill set (which by the way, took FOREVER to cycle). I’ve shared the recipe for this one at Persona Wikidot, but the rest of my team is off-limits, nya. blaugh
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/TamLin.jpg) This Triple-Auto Tam Lin is basically old hat for many P4 players, so what sets mine apart? He also doubles as my Lightning elemental specialist. As you can see, his only menu command is Maziodyne (refined via Magician AC), and the rest are passive skills. I had a whale of a time trying to get Elec Boost, Repel Physical, and the two Auto Passives together, but my persistent cycling eventually paid off.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Scathach.jpg) Scathach is another classic Persona, and I’ve built her here to be a dual-wielder of Wind and Ice elemental spells. By having the Boost and Amp skills for each element coupled with a high magic stat, she’s a force to be reckoned with.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Decarabia.jpg) Decarabia seems rather dopey, but he was the only capable Fire user I found next to Hell Biker and Surt... also, having Mind Charge and Megidolaon is always a plus. Many players find Megidolaon (as well as other Almighty variants) absurdly expensive to cast and a cheap cop-out, but hey, watch me care less about what they think.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Daisoujou.jpg) Daisoujou was my favorite Fiend in SMT Nocturne, and also the only Persona with the highest level Light Spell. He serves as a general healer and magic protector. Kept his Agidyne (and refined it to Maragidyne) so he could have at least one offensive edge against light-immune enemies.
Alice is also another favorite of mine. She’s a natural choice for Darkness Magic, and a dedicated skill addition day allowed me to incorporate Angelic Grace on her. When I was grinding, I essentially sacrificed all the other stats and saved before a level up, making sure that at least 2 points were incorporated to her magic stat (if the opposite happened, I’d reset and try again). I eventually made up for all the other stat deficits using AC.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Futsunushi.jpg) Futsunushi was built to be my hard-to-copy one-stop Ma-kunda caster, as well as a pure physical attacker. Firm Stance was kept over Ali Dance because the latter would become moot if and when I decide to equip an Omnipotent Orb.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Yatsufusa.jpg) Yatsufusa is my second triple Ma-kaja caster, meant to replace an almost-perfect Neko Shogun. He also became a one-stop Mind and Power Charge hub. Before I was able to create my Dual Caster Scathach, Cu Chulainn used to be my Wind Elemental / Power and Mind Charge hub. It kinda looked funny having him along with Tam Lin, though.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Ongyo-Ki.jpg) Ongyo-Ki is basically a gimmick Persona. I made him with all the severe single-target physical skills, and refined his Ziodyne into an all-target attack. While Power Charge would have made him perfect, I have plenty of other Personae with that skill, so it’s somewhat negligible.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Succubus.jpg) Succubus is also another gimmick, but a terribly functional one at that. You’d say that since I already have Alice in tow, Succubus would be a redundancy right? WRONG. I don’t use her for the Darkness skill; she was built for gradual SP regeneration. Invigorate 1, 2 and 3 will stack for a total of 15 SP per turn, and Spirit Drain would restore 27 SP (30 minus the 3 SP cost) when used. Restoring 42 SP per turn in a long battle is nothing to be sneezed at. Since Cool Breeze and Victory Cry can only be used when a battle ends, this was my way of answering the need for in-combat non-consumable based SP recovery for the Main Character.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Yoshitsune.jpg) Yoshitsune was one of my special projects, built for the express purpose of fighting the optional boss. I spent a whole playthrough using him solo in grinding runs so that all the AC boosts go to him. Maximizing the Strength and Agility stats were imperative so that Hassou Tobi would hit harder and seldom miss. Most people would say that putting Revolution instead of Apt Pupil is a mistake, but again, watch me care. Unlike most lazy folks I know, I actually take the time to use it. With the significantly improved Luck stat and when augmented with Power Charge, Heat Riser and an Omega Drive, Hassou Tobi will lay waste everything that doesn't block physicals in a wink.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Trumpeter.jpg) Complimenting the offensive purpose of Yoshitsune would be Trumpeter, built almost perfectly with protection from physical and fire attacks. He would have been another block-all Persona if I was able to incorporate an anti-wind skill, but as far as I’m concerned, this one is good enough. He’s mainly used for Debilitate, after all. Cool Breeze was waived in favor of Marakukaja, since I already have an in-battle SP regeneration specialist.
![User Image](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v140/TerryCloth/Izanagi.jpg) Finally, a heavily modified gimmick Izanagi. There were a lot of threads in the GameFAQs board where people discussed how to remodel the starter Izanagi from the ground up by putting high-end skills into Yomotsu Shikome and Obariyon. This was my result. Since I already had a pure physical and a lightning specialist in my crew, I decided to just leave him like this. Tempest Slash was gained from the Cleave skill, and the other single-target buffs/debuffs were refined using Magician AC as well. Off-hand, I’m perhaps one of the few players who actually bothered to get Megidolaon on him.
I have plenty more interesting fusion results in my game data compendium, but these are the only ones I actively use (aside from a maxed out 4-Element Izanagi-No-Ookami with Angelic Grace changed to Mediarahan). Even now, I still try to get more stat boosting ACs to further increase their parameters, effectively turning them into game-breakers. I won’t tire of using any of these Personae no matter what happens.
