Right now, I'm sitting in the Pahrump's Meeting room in the dark typing up while trying to watch D.N.Angel. It's not working too well. So, since I'm like the only one here who didn't go to lunch, I figure I'd get some stuff done while I've got Emi's computer.
Yesterday, as you might have realized, was Friday the 13th. That means bad luck is supposed to abound, and it actually worked for once this time on me. I was supposed to relax today, but to be honest, I'm actually quite relieved I had a bad day. It made this one all the more worthwhile, and plus I don't think I would have made it here today if yesterday had been easy.
It started off with Russell coming over, since we were supposed to be job hunting. He wanted to go around out neighborhood and look for applications, cause he wants some money to help him survive when he starts college in the Fall. I never got a chance to get some money from my dad, so we were kind of dirt poor, and forced to walk everywhere. I guess Russell was used to that, but I've been spoiled lately, what with Kalen taking me everywhere, so I was being a b***h and complaining all the time. To keep things kind of short, we actually enjoyed the searching process, and found out how to earn a Health Card. The Smoothie place we needed it for was awesome, because it was kind of serving Boba and stuff, and it had an advertisement, that let you add special toppings, but the sign read, "Add Some More Yummy: $.50. that was pretty funny. Most of our adventure was wanting to go home, and when we finally did, we played like nothing but Soul Calibur 3, and I ended up getting a headache and stomach ache from being in all that cigarette smoke. I'm fine now of course. He decided to walk me halfway home, but then it ended up being all the way home.
So we hung out at our house for a minute, and played Smash Bros., when someone was at the door. It was Sonja, of all people, come to say hello. She had been at Amanda's, and just wanted to say, "Hi." to us, but then walk off and go to the Bus Stop. I was having none of this, since it was so late, and she had risked a ride home just to say hi. So me and Russell headed out, and we walked her all the from my home to KMart, which other people did not realize is a lot farther away from my home than Russell's. So we had a bit of complaining on Russell's part, but Sonja seemed to be in a walking mood, so we hung out in KMart and dicked around there, while Sonja looked for random CD's and DVD's. We left like 5 minutes before it started to close, and we kind of got kicked out of KMart. We waited with Sonja for her bus to arrive, and she handed us some money so we wouldn't have to walk back, since it was past 10 now.
So we bused it back in actual good time, and tried to relax before Russell had to walk home. He ended up going upstairs into my room, and started cleaning it, so I could present a reasonable argument for getting to come here today. He went home, I made some pizza, and finished cleaning my room, and crashed until my dad came home from work. He let me come here, and well, here we are.
We're watching Fullmetal Alchemist now, so I'll end this for now. I'll do the Did You Know? later.
Ta-ta.

Did You Know?: Downloading music from the internet isn't really modern and cool. Music started being transmitted through phone lines way back in 1876.
