It was cold, thankfully she was dressed for the weather, otherwise she wouldn't have gone out. She wore long tight jeans, with leggings underneath them to keep her warm. Her black boots came up to her knee, strapped tightly around her to keep the cool air out. Going higher, she wore a tank top then a long sleeve form fitting shirt over it. To cover her, she had pulled on her form fitting black pea coat that came down to her hips. She had matching black gloves on with her black and blue scarf around her neck. Her long black hair hung down straight, keeping what spots the scarf didn't get warm. To top everything off she had on one of her favorite winter hats, with blue and white snowflake designs stitched into it.
"Finally..." she thought looking up to the sky "My seasons arrived."
The sky was gray with swirls of white in it, the air was crisp and fresh, all was silent, that's when the snow began to fall. She smiled and reached out letting the pure white snow quickly cover her arm. The girl released a breath of warm air and couldn't help but smile. Winter was her most loved season, for her it brought back happy yet sad memories, but they were all memories that she cherished and held close to her heart.
"I wish you could be here with me to see how pretty everything is." she said breaking the silence.
She then reached up touching her chest and closed her eyes, letting the memories flood back into her mind. Her smile seemed to drop slightly and tears slipped down her rosy cheeks but she laughed lightly.
"Even though you'e not standing beside me, I know you're always with me..." she whispered "In my heart, whenever I need you, all I have to do is close my eyes and there you are..."
A sob slipped from her lips and she hugged herself suddenly feeling cold. A light wind blew, lifting her hair across her face and she could have sworn she heard them speak to her, telling her that they were right there with her. She looked up at the grey sky and felt the cold tears sliding down her face.
"I miss you..."
