Where do you go when everyone is yelling at you? When everyone in the world seems to be telling you you are wrong? Why isn't there a place for people who know how it feels, somewhere far away from all those voices. It's not like music will block out everything, eventually the earplugs are pulled out and you start hearing the end of the sentence or something... "...even though I tried to make you listen you're ignoring me?!" Well, how will I know? I didn't hear what you were saying. I didn't want to hear what you were saying, for that matter. Why did you think I put my iPod on? And it only gets worse if you start pretending you don't care when you do. Then they just start moaning that you're some emotionless freak. "You can't talk back to me all the time you know? You're such a..." Oh yes. And the talking back. Why is that such a problem if they do it themselves? Why can't they just shut up for a moment and hear your half of the story? Well, of course they don't. Even when you start getting angry, it gets worse, or in the saddest case, they start laughing coldly. I hate it when they do that. It can't get worse than that.
What do you do then? Apologize? When it is clearly their fault? Sometimes it just gets left unsaid. The next day you wake up and pretend that nothing ever happened. You go on with your day even though you can feel in the pit of your stomach that they haven't apologized for their mistake, you haven't said sorry for your mistake, and nobody could really forgive and forget. What do you do, then? When you said you didn't want to hear their voices, but at this point, you do?
