Usεяηαmε: Rena9b Cαяαctεя ηαmε: Faic (Origin; Irish for 'nothing') / Misu (Origin; Native American for 'ripples in the water') Gεηdεя: Female Agε: 16 Nαtioηαlity: Comanche Indian/Unknown
Occupαtioη: Stable boy; but she really does any sort of errand that people ask of her- it could be helping ladies with hauling groceries, busing or serving tables at the saloon, or helping tend to the fields. Anything that needs to be done.
Appεαяαηcε: ♠ Physical Build: Rather thin, but not unhealthily so. She doesn't look it but she does have a fair amount of muscle. ♠ Hair: A thick raven black that she keeps cut so it just reaches her neck- rather short for a girl but rather long for a boy. She likes to cover her face with her bangs if possible. ♠ Eyes: A deep and clear blue. ♠ Height: A modest 5"4 and a healthy 114lbs ♠ Clothing: She always a tight vest underneath whatever clothing she has that hides her bust. Her clothes are worn, loose, and if possible shirts with long sleeves and pants to prevent sunburns. Since she does not own a hat she uses a cloth headband to keep sweat from dripping into her eyes. ♠ Other things not mentioned: Faic would be what is considered a transvestite. She doesn't claim or deny any statements about her gender, but she prefers to be considered as a male for the small help it gives her regarding her own safety. The only artifact that Faic keeps with her from her days with her tribe is a simple necklace formed from a pale leather strap with a bead and feather attached to it. This is hidden under her clothes.
Histoяy: Faic was originally born as Misu in a medium sized band of the Comanche Indians. Her crystal blue eyes were considered unearthly because it was an uncommon trait in the Indian band and Misu was often told that she was destined for 'special' things. When she was around the age of 7 she ignored the warning of her parents and wandered away from the camp to play. When she returned that evening she found the camp deserted and destroyed with a few of the members of her band lying dead with arrows blossoming from their necks.
Misu was found by an Irish couple traveling west who decided that she might be useful in helping them with chores. They called her Faic, and she accepted the name happily blissfully unaware of its meaning. To her Misu had died that day with the rest of her tribe so it only seemed appropriate. The missus had become pregnant on their journey so the couple decided to stop and settle down in Silver Valley for a while. They stayed there for three years and Faic began to care for them as her family. Then, abruptly, the couple determined that they wanted to continue on their journey and decided that they didn't need someone as suspicious as an Indian hanging around when they had a young child so they abandoned the 10 year old Faic leaving the townspeople to do what they willed with her. Faic finally understood her name. She was nothing, nobody.
Faic began to live in the large barn that the town shared in return for taking care of the horses. She is treated like an abandoned dog by the townspeople. Some take pity and leave scraps of clothes and food lying out and others look at her suspiciously chasing her away when she gets too close. She dresses as a boy and though nobody in the town is 100% sure of her gender there are a probably a few that suspect her for what she really is.
Pεяsoηαlity: Faic likes to stay as unnoticed as possible; this is her everyday goal. She goes out of her way to avoid attracting attention because it's too easy to be blamed for something you didn't do when you have Indian blood. Besides, if she did get into any sort of trouble she knows there's nobody coming to help her out. Faic tries to keep interaction between herself and the townspeople to a minimum, but these efforts to be quiet usually end up making people more suspicious of her. Beneath this overwhelming urge to be invisible Faic is actually a fairly happy individual. The townspeople don't bother her too much, she has enough to eat, shelter, and she gets to spend a majority of her time with the horses. Faic talks to the large beasts often and spending time alone with them is truly the highlight of her day. Faic wouldn't go as far as to say she dislikes Indians, but she isn't too fond of them. She's fairly certain that it wasn't the white men who destroyed her camp that day. The concept of 'family' or 'friends' terrifies her immensely. She's lost her whole world too many times.
Stяεηgths: Faic is amazing when it comes to handling horses. Any sort of activity using a horse, whether it be racing, fighting, or navigating Faic is usually superior than most. She is also quite good at keeping secrets and gathering information. A lot of things are discussed in the barn when people don't know she's sitting up in the rafters. Wεαkηεssεs: Faic's people skills = 0
Likεs: ♥ Horses ♥ Water (Rain, streams, etc.) ♥ The Sky
Dislikεs: ♠ Snakes ♠ Being Hungry
Wεαpoη: Her preferred weapon is the bow that she has had for years, but it really should be replaced. Arrows are difficult to come by for her as well so she uses them sparingly and tries to re-use them as much as possible. For close-combat emergency situations she has a small knife that she found lying on the ground, but she's not very adept at using it. She keeps this knife hidden on her person at all times.
