-1 “Hey, Dillion. How was X’s mall?” Evericks asked as Dillion and I entered the tour bus.
“Fine. Filled with weird people though,” Dillion replied.
“Oh? How so?”
I grinned. “He got stopped by this girl on his way out of the AGBD store. She was wearing a prom dress, and asked what type of cologne he was wearing.”
John laughed. “You? Cologne? And she was wearing a prom dress? Dang, I never knew X girls were so desperate.”
Dillion threw his purchased onto his bunk, continued to walk down the length of the tour bus. He poured himself a cup of coffee.
I laughed as well. “I know, right? But some of them are pretty hot. I saw one when I was checking out the high school.”
She smelled really nice too.
“What?! You went to the high school? Why didn’t you bring me?!”
“Oh, shut it, John, I’ll bring you on Monday, when we don’t have a recording and practice.”
“You just wanted to scope them out, yourself, huh? All those innocent high school girls!”
I grinned again, and gingerly hopped onto my bunk like a cat. “Maybe.” I then closed my curtains.
“Grr, GRAYLAND!”
I could hear Evericks laughing.
14 After my weird encounter with Mr. Magic, Hally and Lauren wouldn’t stop making fun of me the next morning when I told them about the encounter.
“Are you going to purchase that dress, Ana?” Lauren snickered.
“Don’t be silly, Lauren! She’d only buy it if someone wearing ‘cologne’ was around.”
I turned a light shade of pink. “Shut up, you guys! It’s not funny!”
“Okay, maybe not, but seriously? It’s pretty funny, Ana. Totally something you wouldn’t do!”
“I know, but the guy smelled kinda good…”
“‘Kinda’? Yesterday you were yelling at an old lady to take off her perfume, proclaiming your undying hatred for perfumes and colognes, but now you’re saying that it can smell good?” Hally pointed out.
As we walked into school, I continued to defend myself. I got to my locker, and hit it open.
“Well… yeah!” I began pulling papers and notebooks out, not particularly caring if anything strayed. “I mean, this is the first time anyone has ever smelled so good to me, and my nose is really sensitive to these types of things.”
“Expect when food is concerned, yes?”
“Of course! Food is food, no matter… what…”
There it was again! That infuriating smell!
Lauren and Hally called after me when I suddenly began looking around furiously. “Ana?”
“He’s here! That guy that smells good!”
“What? Really? Where?” Lauren asked, looking around. Hally stood on her tip-toes, even though it didn’t really do her any good because of her short height.
I gathered my papers from the floor, and shoved them into my pouch. Slamming my locker shut, I caught sight of a pair of blue eyes.
Oh. He’s going to tell me what brand he uses, or someone’s going down.
-2 “YOU!”
Dillion jumped lightly when a flash of dark hair sped in front of us, causing the two of us to stop in our tracks.
My eyes widened, my heart jumping a couple beats.
Large dark eyes were alit with color. Long black hair danced past her head as she skidded to a stop. Her face was glowing with emotion.
She was the same girl I saw yesterday in the hallway. I tugged at the neckline of my button-up shirt and loosened tie.
Damn. I was hoping I would get to meet her, but not so soon!
Dillion’s low voice snapped me out of my trance. “You’re the girl from last night!”
“And you’re the liar from last night!”
Dillion rose a brow. “Liar? I don’t know what you’re smoking, but what the ******** are you talking about?”
The girl put her hands on her hips, and made a face.
I had no idea why, but my heart rate just sky-rocketed through the roof. I found myself withdrawing from the conversation, suddenly shy in front of this one girl.
Soon, two other girls appeared, their faces twisted with small amounts of confusion.
“You lied to me last night! You’re not an animal, so how can you smell so good? You have to be wearing some type of cologne - perfume if that’s what you prefer!”
“Excuse me? I don’t wear cologne or perfume! Look, smell me again, you crazy girl!” Dillion lifted his arm, and the girl quickly grabbed it.
She took a few whiffs. (So cute.) The girl frowned.
“You’re not wearing any…”
Dillion groaned in relief. “I told you! C’mon, Grayland, let’s go.”
“Grayland?” she questioned, tilting her head. Her eyes trailed towards me, and they widened in a cute fashion.
“Yes. Him.” Dillion pointed towards me, then grabbed my collar. “C’mon, we have to go to the office. Evericks and John’ll come later.”
I barely heard a word he had said, my eyes drawn to the black-haired girl. I gulped, pulled Dillion’s hand off my collar, and whispered, “Hi, I’m Grayland.”
I heard a squeak, and the two other girl pushing the girl towards me.
One of them sent a fiercer look towards Dillion with her green eyes.
“I… I, uh, um, I-I-”
I continued to look at her, taking in the sight, the scent, the overall feel. A head shorter than me, warm, milky skin, the smell of fresh air. Overall, a very pretty girl with a simple aura. I had gotten that feeling yesterday when I first saw her, but up close, with her (light, but very feminine) aroma, it was hard to think straight, much less talk straight. Her stuttering went on.
“Her name is Analise,” the blonde friend said, fed up.
Analise, I thought to myself, What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.

A/N: I reused the name Analise. I like the name XD DO NOT STEAL THIS STORY. I WILL BITE YOUR HEAD OFF.
Sometime in the future, there was the Multi-Humanization Movement, which allowed all beings, no matter how human, or inhuman, to shows themselves without prosectution or explaination.
Because of this movement, multi-human cities and town popped up out of nowhere, and labeled themselves as multi-human friendly. Much to many human’s surprise, the presence of magic was all around them: their next-door neighbor, their mailman, a friend, a teacher, a family member. Some beings decided to move to cities that were deemed multi-human accepting, while others decided to stay in their town.
This story takes place in X, one of the biggest multi-human cities, and follows the narrations of Analise Kochimoto and Grayland Kaimoto. Both narrators are similar personality-wise and in their species, but origin-wise, they couldn’t be more different - Analise was born and raised in X, while Grayland was raised in a mostly human city with only traces of multi-humans. They are both Dog tamers, otherwise known as humans that are also dogs.
The moment the two met, it was like love at first sight. In this story, Animals are highly affected by scent. Their keen sense of smell helps them do many things, such as fight, find people, and find a suitable mate once they come of age, and get their letter from the elders stating they can mate. Analise and Grayland, despite their differences, are no exception.
But that’s not all! Grayland is hiding a big secret, and Analise’s friends are having major problems with their love lives! (Now isn’t that a big bunch of fun?)
I made a summary, so here:
Warning, don‘t read if you: … don’t like teenage drama. … don’t like boy bands that have to keep their identities secret. … don’t like EPIC SIGHTINGS OF ROMANCE! (Gasp.) … like concrete answers, and real chapters. … don’t like a world filled with magic, human-animal mixes, and Red Strings of Destiny.
This is a story of typical girl, with typical friends, (Hally, the artistic and somewhat two-faced witch, Lauren, the dense and ridiculously righteous super heroine, and Olivia, your typical angst-driven Vampire that adores making you feel stupid. And your smart a** narrator that cannot stand academics in any way, shape, or form. Oh, and that likes waffles with unicorn stomach gravy.) who have to deal with typical boy problems, (‘Typical’, as in our love lives have been set in stone the moment we were conceived. And said boys are in a boy band with alter egos.) and somehow make through this new, a little chilly, and very typical, magical world.
Follow along, in this confusing - yet slightly endearing - story of love, and learn what it’s like to be a teenager in this ever-shifting world.
