Backstory: Renata was born in Barcelona, Spain. Her father was a successful scientist while her mother was a theatre actress. At the age of 5, her father was murdered, a year later her mother got remarried to some money-hungry tycoon. 2 years later, her mother mysteriously passed away. Ever since her mother's passing, her stepfather became very abusive towards her. When she couldn't take anymore abuse, she grabbed whatever money she could get, left Spain and went straight to Japan, the place where her father did his research. When she had no place to stay, a family with financial problems took her in and took care of her as if she were their own daughter. Her new parents work in an auto-shop fixing cars, her grandfather runs a dojo where she trained in martial arts every Saturday after school, her older brother's in college studying forensics, and her 2 younger brothers are in elementary school. She's mostly a loner, she has a bit of a problem talking to people cuz she fears people will make fun of her strong Spanish accent. The only thing she considers her friend is a small kitten she named Ayame. She's a skilled martial artist, and her favorite weapon is the nunchuck. Her passion is music, so she's joined the music club to improve her skills, her biggest dream is to become a legendary rock star. The only memory she has of her biological parents is an expensive diamond cross they gave her and these words "Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a shining light of hope". She's never been in love, but hopes to find her soul mate one day. She's not comfortable with the idea of living in a dorm with other students, because she's still insecure around other people, plus she doesn't know if they'll allow to let her kitten Ayame live with her.
