Lost souls walk among us.
Both in Light and Darkness.
Those in the light never lurk in the dark,
fearful of what lies within.
Those in the dark never tread in the light,
afraid of the warmth, yet hunger for it.
Both are clueless about the other.
Those in light feel darkness is evil,
treacherous, deceitful, and unknown.
Those in dark feel the light is heartless,
shining brightly and forcing them into corners.
Both are clueless, yet so bitter.
Pushing amongst each other,
forces keeping them in place.
Absorbed in conflict, fighting, and territory,
they forget those in the middle.
Innocent yet guilty.
Honest yet a spinner of lies.
Their bonds forged,
from both light and darkness.
One of light exists in the darkness.
One of darkness exists in the light.
The path is seen and journeyed on.
Those of the darkness walk into light.
Those of the light walk into darkness.
This thing created is a special need,
a balance between the two forces,
and those in between.
Light exists, Dark exists.
And we all walk on the path,
that balances morality,
and their existence in our hearts.
