Bio: Michelle was an average girl growing up. She didn't have a lot of friends, she didn't play many sports, so no one really knew who she was. No one wanted to know who she was. Except for one boy named Twenty-fifth Baam. He and Michelle were inseperable. They were even at the same event of seeing digimon in the real world. They also received their digivices together. Baam and Michelle even traveled in the digital world together, but when Baam was the first to get a champion level digimon Michelle became jeleous. Baam who was very active, and very friendly, who could get people to like him in an instant, also had more talent than she did. In an act of jeleousy and rage Michelle abandoned Baam in the digital world and took a raft to get to the main continent where she found a way back home. In time to see it being destroyed. Michelle does miss Baam but doesn't wish for him to ever return.

I'll be honest. There are many things I don't like about your character's profile. Her as a character is perfectly fine, but her bio is what I don't like. This rp is literally tied with the first season. Outside Ken(Who is not in the rp because I'm souly doing this off the first season), there were no other digidestened outside the 8 main characters in the show. There were no others and because this rp is like an alternate ending thing, none of the movies happened and neither did the second season so there are no other digidestened at the time at all...Sorry._.
(for the sake of the rp, there is no "I saw a digimon so I have a digivice too" like in the second season. If I did that...literally everyone would have a digivice. That may be a good idea for the ending of the rp though biggrin The whole entire 'unite digimon and human' thing)
And based off what your character did...she would not be a digidestened. No digidestened would abandon their friends.(at least not over petty jealousy anyways)(And yes, I know that Matt was jealous of Tai in the show, but he didn't abandon his friends, he told them he needed some time alone to sort things out) There seems to be too much darkness in her heart for any of the good traits of humanity to shine out like the others.(Yeah, Ken did some bad stuff, but he had dark spores controlling him so his darkness slides)
And And...what do you mean by copies? like...two people having the same crest? I would say...no. I'm not going to allow that._. Its an interesting idea that would probably be good for an all out war thing my rp seems to be going to, but I don't want that. Sorry again.
I do apologize if I sound like I'm being mean and super picky. I don't mean to. Its just I'm super serious about this rp and I know what I want in it and what I don't.
You can still however rp:3 your character could be a rebel or something and...I'd prefer no digimon partner, but if you want to keep it, then your digimon wouldn't be able to digivolve since I'm going on with the first season and only the digidestened can make their digimon digivolve.
First of all that is what happened in the show. A ton of kids on earth saw digimon when Miyotismon invaded and they all got digivices. Including a digidestined from America that Mimi introduced to the others in season 2.
Second Sora also abandoned all of her friends for something as stupid as her crest type and she was still a digidestined. Another thing is Matt's a ******** c***e and I hate his guts. He DID abandon all of his friends and went off on his own. He showed up ONE time to help against puppetmon and then left again. He left his own LITTLE BROTHER, who didn't even have an ultimate level digimon at the time, and went off to sulk.
As for the crest thing you didn't really leave room for more crests than the original nine. It's not even confirmed that those were the only nine crests. Since Ken's suddenly appeared out of nowhere, whereas the others were all stone tablets somewhere on the continent, there's no way to tell how many other crests were actually out there.
Also about the digimon not being able to digivolve that's also not true. Leomon became Saberleomon at one point to battle a metaletamon. Digimon can digivolve without a digidestined. It's been proven. The only thing needed is catalyst power. If I can't at least have Wizardmon then I don't want to be in your RP.

The rp...its 10 years after the eight digidestened DIED! Meaning, NOTHING in the second season has happened. As I've said before, I am SOULY doing this rp off of the first season, only introducing the crest of kindness from the second season. Yes, according to the SECOND season, those kids who saw the sky all ripped(which happened AFTER being VenomMyoticemon though I guess that would still be up there? I'm not sure what to do with that honestly) And some of the characters in the second season(Yolie) became a digidestened by watching the battle over the internet in the movie which I said hasn't happened in this rp because the digidestened are dead.
I understand that if one were to see a digimon, they would become a digidestened, but its been ten years in the rp and digimon are everywhere. Only the 8 have digivices(well for some of them, not yet>w> but they will) exist right now. It would make sense that when the rp were to end...like officially end and not die...like they always do( ) Then, yes, pretty much...everyone would be a digidestened(minus crests) and have their own digimon partner and digimon and humans would be living in harmony. But that would be at the end, not at the beginning.
For both Sora and Matt. They didn't abandoned their friends. Sora continually helped each of her friends in secret. At first she left to simply look for Tai, but she became more self-conscious about her crest because of her issues back at home. She came back to her friends. She actually never left them. And for Matt. You can't let your hatred for the character influence your decision on him abandoning his friends or not. He left TK because he viewed Tai as a better big brother than himself so he was in good hands anyways. If you are going to use a simple 'a character left the group to think' as an 'abandonment' then Mimi and Joe abandoned them as well. Which, obviously, they didn't.
Your character on the other hand COMPLETLY abandoned her friend. As in, she never came back and she doesn't even want him to come back JUST because she was jealous. This may be a personal opinion, but someone like that doesn't deserve to be a crest wielder.
True true on the crests. Kindness was just an add on for the second season so they can introduce a character who is bad but actually isn't bad. It was just to add on to the plot.
I didn't give room for more crests on purpose. I didn't want fan made crests. I didn't want to deal with that personally and again, I was sticking souly to the first season outside of the crest of kindness which is from the second season. I wanted to use OFFICIAL crests. I like fanmade crests and all, but this one digimon rp I was in that allowed fanmades...it just screwed up the rp mainly because the person who was running it didn't understand what crests really were.
Sorry if it ticks you off that there are no fanmade crests, but I wanted this rp to be close to the actual show...so...yeah...

So for Leomon, he was able to digivolve at will because he was touched by the light of Tai's digivice, which are the only things that allow digimon to digivolve freely.
I too thought a lot about the digivolving process(being the obsessed fan that I am) and so I've been theorizing that for digimon without digidestened are able to digivolve when the build up their endurance and energy and power. Take Gatomon, Kari's digimon. She is ALWAYS(well almost always) in her champion form. I believe that is because, while under Myotismon, she built up a lot of endurance through her constant torture. She managed to build enough strength to where she can stay in her champion form as long as she wants, until she loses her energy like she did after the battle with VenomMyotismon where she reverted to Salamon instead of Gotomon.
I've been thinking about that a lot after hearing apocolypsmon(pardon if spelled wrong) say that he was made up of the sorrow of digimon who failed to digivolve and just...vanished. So digimon can digivolve, but not by will and they can't revert back to their lower levels unless their energy is depleted...or they die.
The digivice is a digivolving aid. It helps digimon digivolve without having to worry souly on building up their endurance, power, and over all strength.
