I don't understand that elusive four-letter-word. Love.
It's supposed to be one of the greatest emotions in the world. THE greatest, in fact. It's supposed to be the best and the worst thing that someone could ever feel, the emotion that could make one go mad, do things one would never have thought of doing before, the emotion that makes fools out of all of us.
I don't know. Perhaps my view of it is just idealistic. I believe that love can last forever. I believe that it can overcome anything, and it's... the most beautiful thing ever.
But things that I have seen here... seem to contradict that. People breaking up... people leaving other people because of various things... it just confuses me! ...Isn't love supposed to be forever? Isn't love supposed to transcend age and sickness and financial difficulties? ...I don't understand!
If you could leave someone just because it's not perfect anymore... then was it really love? Isn't love supposed to be forever? ...How could you leave someone just because... you don't have the time or money? And if you were leaving the person because the feeling had faded... was it really love then...? Isn't love supposed to... be strong forever?
...Isn't it?
