"The Moon Overcame
Everynight from dusk to dawn
I would always look at the moon
It was a constant and never-ending way to have company
I would always think of you
I would compare you to the moon
And in a way you both are alike
You are my light and guidance
So when I sleep you are watching over me
But you changed my point-of-veiw
You tore me away from my once loved life and casted me into a painful darkness
Now everytime the moon appears I see your treason, lies, and despair
My sorrow would never cease
So I draw my drapes
With crimson sheets covering your light I feel no regret
I now enjoy my artificial darkness and my nothingness
For it calms my anger
It dries my tears
I wait for the dawn to come
For the sun makes me forget
And it casts my feelings back into the shadows of day to await me the following night
Where the cycle of the moon continues to haunt me so
