An 11th grade class gets a new student. This new student, named Clarissa, has eyes as red as blood, and hair as black coal. Every day she wears the same thing, a long red gown with a rips and tears all throughout it. The thing about the dress that catches everyones eye is a soft blue patch pleaced directly over her heart.
The head of the popular crew, Melissa, teases her about her torn clothes and worn-out shoes whenever she gets a chance and this drives Clarissa crazy! One day, Clarissa swears that she will kill Melissa, but something happens that changes her plans.
