How The Hell Did We Make a Square Root?! |

I shouldn't be up this late. I told myself I should start going to be a little earlier, so I can get up at decent times, I haven't been doing very well with getting up, or at least making my way downstairs, so my dad still thinks I sleep in to "ungodly hours".
This weekend's been a blast, and I'm all pooped out. Everyone I even hung out with jumped online and we just IM'ed each other bitching like, "Oh, I'm so tired, but I wanna be on the comp." I hang out with the weirdest people. But it's my strange sexy magnetism that attracts them, so I don't blame them for it, it's only natural. biggrin
Saturday was Anime Vegas, it was fine, people got there pretty late though, but other than it was a normal Anime Vegas, the regularly yelling at people to STFU and stop fooling around, that it's a library not a playground. I sat with Jason, which made me feel bad later because I left Jen by herself, I thought she would come over and sit with us later, but she was intent on keeping our seats as always, I guess that's kind of admirable. I found out later if I had sat with her I probably would have seen Tabatha since she was sitting in her normal spot too, so that was regretful.
The Manga Host Club went really well too, the theme for this month was "Alice In Wonderland - Down The Rabbit Hole", and I got to film a little bit for Tony, since he asked too, everyone was dressed up and the placemats had tons of playing cards and roses on the tables. Whoever made that Strawberry Lemonade needs to bring a lot more next time.
AJ's party was a blast too. Her dad has the nicest house, he must be bringing in the door, because I consider the place a mansion. We played a ton of fighting games and I stomped most of everyone pretty badly, the only one I did kinda bad on was Soul Calibur III, but I've only played that like 3 times. Oh, and we played pool, and I'm addicted to the game now, I want to practice so much and get better, it's a lot of fun. Everyone showed up too, Emi, 2.0, Jenna, Navarre, it sucked Jen couldn't come. We got a little rowdy and we usually found ourselves on the floor laughing so hard, but I loved just looking around admiring the house. I love the fact that her dad uses old-times telephones for real.
Sunday, I was supposed to have gone to United Blood Services to donate, but if I had done that I wouldn't have made it to Project Harajuku, and I wanted to go there a lot more, so I decided to ditch them. I wasn't really going to make it on time, so I bussed it to Boulder Station, then took a taxi to the Fashion Show Mall. The driver was a real nice guy, his jokes could have used some work though.
I found everyone in the food court, and I went to Nathan's because I was starving, and bought everything that came deep fried and with cheese or chili. Basically from there we romped around the mall, browsing and buying, I took a rather eccentric interest in the Sanrio store, trying to look for something bunny-wise for Russell, but everything looked really fem if I were to give it to him. I was disappointed to find that the Border's actually carried the Naruto CCG, but I didn't want to spend all my money, they also had Specials available, which I almost bought.
We also got to see a real runway show, which was pretty exciting I'll admit, it was kind of cool to see them actually do it in front of me. Of course Project Runway kept appearing in my head. We stopped at Starbucks, but around that time a lot of people split up or went home. I think the total head count was like 6, me, Jason, 2.0, Emi, Rei, and another one of Veronica's friends who helps work the Manga Host Club.
From there we walked to Treasure Island and looked through the Paul Frank store. I gotta say, it's great having Emi working at a Starbucks, her employee discount kicks so much a**, SHE BETTER NEVER QUIT. domokun
We headed to the arcade and played DDR Extreme, and I alternated from that and a KOF game I didn't really recognize, Veronica's buddies headed off later, then the "2 Jasons and the 2 Emi's" went to the candy shop inside TI, then we walked back to the mall and walked to the parking lot while it was closing. 2.0 actually drove me home, which was nice having everyone see where I lived. eek
Jason mentioned something too about Sahara and Sandhill, which are two of the crosstreets near my house being haunted by some angry old lady ghost, it's one of the Las Vegas ghost stories I guess, I wonder where they found that, I'd like to see some of the other ones or at least read up on that one. The weird thing though was for some reason Emi said that while we were driving home the four of us made a square root. Now, I understood what she meant by that, but she used the wrong mathematical term, but I was having too much fun to correct her.
