well, i recently ran across my 10th grade English portfolio. in it was our "Book of Others" in which one of the assignments was a recipe for yourself. i took two real recipies from cook books, Scrambles Eggs with Squirrel Brains and Squirrel Brains with some kind of Sauce, and looked at them, then used the recipies as an exact guide to create my recipe for me. when i typed it up to post here, i did edit the times, though. i did have them set as the times that were used in the recipies, which were minutes. i thought that if it were in years, though, it would be more realistic for a recipe for me.
Scrambled Eggs with Brains and Wise Sauce (a recipe for me)
1 cup of intelligence 1 1.3-pound package of love 2 1-ounce packages of solid wisdom 3 cups inspiration 4 teaspoons of mischieef 1 1/2 ounces of laughter 2 disciplines, beaten slightly Pinch of generosity 2 large kisses, melted 1 practical joke, chopped finely 1/2 tablespoon motivation 1/2 cup common sense Time 5 bear-hugs, squeezed 1 small bottle of giggles Dash of insanity, fried
Mix intelligence, love and 1 package of solid wisdom evenly. Soak mixture in 1 cup chilled inspiration of 5 years. Drain. Cover with 1 cup boiling inspiration and 4 teaspoons of mischief; simmer for 7 years. Drain. Plunge into warm laughter. Drain again. Chop coarsely. In a separate container, mix discipline, generosity, 1 kiss, and practical joke. Melt motivation in frying pan; add discipline mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring often, until set. Add to intelligence concoction, mix evenly throughout. In a saucepan, melt 1 package of solid wisdom, using high heat, until melted. Add common sense, 1 cup of inspiration, time, and 1 kiss. Cover, bring slowly to a boil and simmer for 6 years. Pour wise sauce over intelligence and discipline concoction. Garnish with bear-hugs around the edges of the dish. Sprinkle with giggles and insanity. Serve while hot. Makes 1 serving.
