Yes, flashlights are evil. gonk
Well, being here in New Jersey has been pretty decent so far. My little neice got sick, but it only lasted for an afternoon. She threw up in an elevator. gonk
This morning, I was sleeping, perfectly fine, until I woke up 'cause there was something shining at me. I opened my eyes and was instantly blinded by a freakin' flashlight. scream I rolled back over and heard my newphew J.J. go: "I woke Awnt Gewshay up!" Yeah... cute, J.J. stare He and my neice just love terrorizing me to get me to wake up. crying They poke me, pull at my blankets, yell at me, and the worst is when they jump on the bed. It's an air mattress, so it might explode. D,: Even when their Dad told them to stop they kept on going. *tears* But when I'm sleepy I can be incredibly damn stubborn, so I didn't budge until my mom came over and started rubbing my back. xD
Other than morning torture (I have sleeping problems, and now that I'm here I get to wake up around 7:30, but because of the time change it's like 5:30 to me instead gonk ) my sister has been talking to me about college. She looked up universities with good writing programs and said that Princeton was the college that she thought was the best. Everyone thinks that I can do a college like that, 'cept for me. xd xd xd Even my teenage sister said: "Gelsey, everyone except for you realizes that you're really smart." (This was after I showed her my Plan test results regarding what kind of colleges I could get into.) It's mostly influenced from my mom, she's very fantastic at making people feel stupid. (Story for another time!) So, I'll aim for Princeton, I s'ppose. We're moving soon, so when we do, I'm gonna plung for taking school full-time again, join band, and try and get into some kind of clubs. I'll have to study like hell to get strait A's, but I know that I won't have a problem with it, except for the Math and Biologyish classes. (Actually, Science classes should be easy, I just stopped giving effort into it because I was very good in it, so people were telling me to go for Science, and my mom was pressuring me. I wanted to be a writer, so I just let myself go for Science so people would stop bothering me! Creative aren't I? :Roll: ) I'mma gonna need a tutor for Math. crying
My ma' wants to watch a movie with me, so I gotta go. My brother-in-law works for Comcast, so he has a lovely biiig T.V for free and has a special program where he can record, rewind, and order movies (also free) that just came out from the movie theaters for about five, sometimes only three dollars(not free, but gets it for half the listed price)! So... sweet. We can also watch older movies if we want, and I can watch my anime. >:3 Going to watch "Lucky Number Sleven", and I've already lost about a good fifteen minutes writing this entry. xD;
Next entry, maybe, will be titled: "Family Secrets" I learned some things from my sister and I've gotta get it off of my chest, but, I wanted to make a cherry entry, damn it! xd
