Dante stood still for a moment, thinking of what Zephiel had just said. "That is not possible... vampires are creatures of myth and lore, everybody knows that. It is like believing animals speak proper-It just can't be." Zephiel sighed, standing from his large chair and starting for the door. He turned, looking Dante in the eyes fiercely. "Collect your weapons" he said simply and firmly, then walked out of the long, echoing library. "Collect my weapons?" Dante repeated to himself, setting down the torn book. "What could he mean...?" He started out of the library, towards his room, when a large crash came from far behind him, then the sound of pounding feet and clashing steel. He turned quickly on his heels, dashing towards the noise. When he came apon the main hall, witnessing Clarissa and Flint, two of the Cavaliers, against the main door, as though baring it shut. They looked over to him for a second, but immediately was torn away by forcing the doors shut. There was a smashing sound on the other side, and soon another, as though something inhuman was pounding on the doors. The two cavaliers looked to each other and nodded, then jumped from the doorway towards Dante, grabbing him and catapulting down the hallway. He could hear the door shattering and the angry screams of many people as they began to flood the castle. "What is going on!?" He asked, sprinting beside the two. Flint looked to him and said "Fools who seek the riches under this castle." He said, and turned a corner quickly, leaving Clarissa and Dante to run ahead. "Don't worry, he's warning the others." She said quickly, her stride never breaking, nor a single bead of sweat forming on her face. "What are we doing?" he asked, still confused. She laughed calmly, not at all worried. "But of course, we are waking your father." She said. Suddenly Zephiel was beside them, matching their speed effortlessly. "I will wake Glen and the Sisters" Zephiel said quickly, then disappeared down another hallway. Dante was clueless. "What of the raiders? they are flooding the castle like water on rocks, I can hear it!" His father's voice came from behind him, where he was caught up. "That is where you will come in, for you are the tactition!"
