tonight was amazing. soccer has started, and i was bummed about only making back up for varsity, but i do get to play on JV.
but don't worry, this is a good AAAAH!
so today at the soccer potluck where they introduce all the players on the team they were also going to announce the team captains.
i had been freaking out ALL day because this girl i hate (who sucks really bad at soccer) was going around the team and telling everyone to vote for her.
so i was mad, but whatev.
SO ANYWAY.
when the JV players were all lined up, my coach revealed the JV captain...
ME!!
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.
You should have seen the look on that girl's face, it was priceless. i get this cool band to wear around my shin guard that says "captain" on it.
i was so happy i was about to cry. it's really flattering when your team votes for you because they think you'd be a good leader for the team. heart
i'm gonna go dance around some more... whoooo! wahmbulance
