This originally had 'she' and 'her'... but I changed it because this way makes me way more happy!^-^
Fingers running through his hair He hardly notices he is there Too wrapped up in what you say Words confine him in this way Stuttering, stumbling, longing to speak But he is only small and meek Too afraid to proclaim what he knows They were obvious, his lavish shows Reaching out with a trembling hand Clinging to you, he cannot stand You shove away, he is bruised inside He retreats to his conscious, his only confide Fighting the ocean welling up in his eyes The longing he feels; today his demise You begin to regret how you ripped out his heart How you thought he wouldn't mind if you tore it apart You pick up the pieces, shattered on the floor And begin to realize that there is much more There is more to that shy boy than you thought at first But you've ruined your chance and he hates you at worst He looks up at you with his tear-stained eyes But everything you tell him seems like lies With a hurt expression, he runs away It's over; He'll never forgive you, at least not today
By taking a needle, you mend his heart And place it against yours, beating as one But they will always be apart.
