This past week has been much better than last. I was crowned princess at Junior Prom! There's a queen, which the lovely Chinese exchange student got, and there's a duchess, which a nice girl who shares my birthday received. Junior Prom was quite a bit of fun, though the DJ-ing was a little sucky. The equipment and stereo system wasn't as nice as the previous dances, and the song choices were a little strange. No one really knew the songs, and the beats within the songs kept changing.
Tonight, I have an event to attend to as Festival Princess, which goes from 6:30-9:00-ish pm. Then I'm going to a local metal concert right afterwards which lasts until 11:00pm. I'll have to change my clothes at the concert. But no big deal. I just don't want to carry around a bag to carry my clothes in. Ah well, I'll figure it out.
I got a free year's membership at a local gym as part of being a Festival Princess! And I get unlimited classes too! So far, I've taken a pilates class and a yoga class, and they were both great. I worked out for an hour and a half yesterday, just exercising on the elliptical machines. 15 minutes on the stair climber, 15 minutes on the treadmill, stretching, 30 minutes on a cycle, more stretching, and then another 20 minutes on the stair climber. I want to join track after cheer next year. I already can sprint pretty fast, and I'm good at pacing myself. I just want to increase my running stamina, as well as my speed.
I got about a year until the next track season! How convenient.
