I've branched out with my yarny crafts and actually have two crochet projects in progress. Well, I've got more than that actually, but two I'm actually working on. One is a crocheted penguin amigurumi that I'm adapting from a pear pattern. Um... Started working from the pear pattern and then tossed the pattern and moved on freehand more like it =D

The second is a star afghan that I really like working on. It's mindless but fun. I learned a lesson from last time attempting to crochet stripy starts. Weave in ends as you go! It's not too hard to weave in a couple of ends at the time, but save them all to the end and the afghan will never be finished! This one will be larger than my precious attempt too. I need more yarn already. It's going to be interesting to see how big it gets before I give up and finish it.
