You fought Valiently, and while you may not believe me, your efforts have not gone in vain. You've inspired much throughout the police forces of Gaia, and will continue to, even after your judgement. Rest in peace Fredrick Baron, and live well... Goodbye.

So far as I know, there is nothing sinful with war. David fought wars, yet God never counted that as sin against him. Many people in the OT fought war, yet God never saw it as sin. However, those who live by the sword will also die by the sword:

----------

Matthew 26:52

Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword.

----------

You also likely misunderstood me: you would be fighting against a DIFFERENT government, if you are part of our army. If you fight in war. If you are obeying your governing authority, then how are you sinning if you fight another leader: you are obeying your governing authority, the USA. Now, if the US was corrupt, you'd also have to submit to them. However, if you were with another country and fought against a corrupt US, you'd be obeying that government. No matter what, that whole situation isn't very good, my friend. Jesus does say those who live by the sword will die by it, even if living by the sword, as a soldier, is not sinful, so far as I understand.

Personally, I'd rather stay out of conflict in the world. I'd have to cry out for wisdom, and ask God what to do, if I were ever drafted. We're to obey our government unless they try to make us do something sinful (God is the higher authority). Otherwise? They can be as cruel to you and others and commit as much sin as they want, themselves. Consider Caesar: he claimed to be a god. Yet, Jesus obeyed, He told people to render to Caesar what was Caesar's, when asked if they should pay taxes.

----------

Luke 20:22-

Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or no?

But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, Why tempt you me?

Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription has it? They answered and said, Caesar's.

And he said to them, Render therefore to Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and to God the things which be God's.

----------

Don't be afraid: yeah, there are wicked rulers. Hitler was a wicked man, and God set him up. God also removed Hitler (Daniel 2:21), and He also killed Hitler (1 Samuel 2:6). What God wants you to do, is obey Him, no matter what. Even if you don't understand, God says this:

----------

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

----------

Trust in God, with all of your heart. All of it.

You say: if corruption took over the government and tyranny became common, i'm not backing down, even if it sends me to hell.

Jesus says: Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. (Romans 13:1)

So, Jesus has given a commandment: you have just rejected His commandment. Jesus says this:

----------

Luke 6:46

"Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? (Why do you call Jesus "Lord", and disobey Him?)

Matthew 7:21

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. (The will of the Father is to submit to the governing authorities: you choose not to. So, you do not do the will of the Father, and therefore, according to this verse, you do not enter Heaven.)

That in itself means you're on your way to Hell already. Your mindset is "Jesus is my Lord IF": that's not how it works. A servant obeys His master, period. Jesus says "If you love me, obey my commandments" (John 14:15). You're straight saying that you'll obey... IF... so you're saying there are conditions to your obedience, and that, you will reject Jesus in certain circumstances: this means you already have rejected Him.
