ABOUT ME:

Hello Lovelies I'm Via =] I'm only 16, but am super inspired and dedicated to become the next big fashion designer. I consider myself to be pretty down to earth and certainly more respectful than others from my age group, but that may only be where I live. A lot of times I just like to go with the flow as long as someone can handle making a decision. I get restless sometimes so I hate it when people want to do something, but don't have at least some sort of plan. I just get very frustrated when people don't know what they're doing. Then again sometimes spontaneous things are the most fun! I would like to say that I am a very loving and caring person. I spend a lot of time trying to give back to the community by doing donations or volunteer work. My boyfriend and I actually spent one of our first dates together volunteering at an animal shelter to help rescue dogs find new loving homes. I try to be pleasant, at the very least, to everyone I meet, unless a person has given me a reason not to. As a result, I tend to openly trust people, even someone whom I have just met. However, once someone has lost that trust, it is nearly impossible to regain it. I'm also just the type of person who'll laugh at the most corny jokes one can think of. It's very easy to make me laugh or just smile. My friends say they almost never see me without a smile imprinted on my face. I'm a very affectionate person. I'm not afraid to show someone how much they mean to me, even as a friend. To me, saying hello or goodbye doesn't mean anything without a hug!

Currently, I am going into my Jr. year of High school. I consider myself very grateful and lucky to be in the prestigious course known as IB, or the International Baccalaureate program. For those of you who do not know what it is, it is a very rigorous course taken all around the world. IB is taught everywhere from China to Italy and no matter where you take it, the curriculum is the same. It focuses mostly on writing and the arts, as well as culture and history. I find this program is well suited for me because it focuses on all of my strong points like actually learning something than memorizing it. I also fancy that I can prove that I am right through reasoning and ideas rather than an answer being strictly right or wrong. I also just thought I'd add that I plan on being a fashion major in college. I plan on attending FIT in a few years and have already begun taking steps to get into the school such as familiarizing myself with them and vice versa. I actually am currently taking summer classes there. I've been taking summer classes there since my freshman year. It is definitely my dream college and I plan to go there as soon as I'm out of HS. I even have my entire curriculum planned out!

My style has certainly evolved over the years. As of now I tend to drift towards classic looks, but adding an edgy twist. I love anything with studds, leather, spikes or something just a little bit "bad a**." Of course that is not the only style I'll wear, but my preferred choice.

I hold myself at very high standards, probably more than the average person. However that's probably a side effect of having an OCD father and an artist, now turned scientist, mother. Needless to say because of them, I was raised to be a perfectionist. I try to never doubt myself and be sure of everything I do. I am very confident in my looks and abilities, however I admit that I can come off as being a little over confident at times. Despite that, I realize that no one is perfect, especially not me. Everyone has their flaws and so do I; I just accept them or try to fix them if possible.

Dislikes:
On the other hand, I hate fakes, fake people and people who claim to be someone else by stealing a photo. I don’t know why they don’t understand that it’s better to be hated for who you are rather than liked for who you’re not. There will always be someone who likes the real you. Besides, they would be hated even more if exposed. I hate people who think they're better than everyone else just because someone is different. Please don't ask me for my # or facebook, msn, blah blah blah. I save that for my real friends and not perverted 20 year-olds who have nothing better to do than talk to an underage girl.
