dont stress over what your totem is...
it will show itself in time. I always thought mine was a dragon until recently.
its all about personality traits, and a single trait that will prove to be important in your future.
for example, mine, the wolf, is a cunning creature, very docile and short fused, but otherwise gentle.
Whats the biggest trait about the wolf that is crucial to my future? Pack animal
The wolf is very pack oriented...in a wolf pack, all members must support eachother to survive.
how does that apply to me? I am a leader in my high schools marching group, for one...Its my job to keep my section, my "pack", working together, because if one of us slips we all fall...
Im marching a proffesional group, and its very crucial we all pull our equal weight...
and soon im going to be moving into an appartment with my boyfriend, sister, and friend, and its very important that we all work together, because if we dont, we wont survive...
the "pack animal" trait comes into play alot in my current life and life to come...
that and the fact that the wolves personality traits match my own.

there is an example as to how I discovered my totem...

it takes alot of thinking and alot of patience.

Totems are animal spirits...

and you cant choose your totem..your totem is what it is...you just have to try and figure out what it is

What animal reprisents your personality most...

Totems arent always handsome animals like Wolves or lions ot foxes or hawks...they can even be cockroaches. Cockroaches reprisent strength and someone who is sturdy.

Any living creature can be a totem.

Its difficult to know what yours is if you think about it...you just have to let it come to you
