It has been approximately one month since she'd volunteered to babysit the group of Diedrichs that have presently, gathered at her feet. She'd learned a great deal about them as a species, and have also, unknowingly, grown rather...accustomed to them and their antics.

The local Spring Fair was being held that day.

...I gotta tell ya, responding on my phone is such a pain lol. Accidentally closed out the tab. Again. So laptop it is! Any hoot, hopefully what I was typing didn't get sent somehow. But, I have been prescribed muscle relaxers and recommended melatonin by the different specialists I saw. Nothing worked for a long period.

Glad the dumpling were great! I was a big fan of Groupon back in the day, but then I stopped using it. Started using it again earlier this year and stopped again. I found some neat restaurants and deals!

I really really REALLY need to get back to doing my nightly stretches. I use an app called "7 Minute Workout" and it has a variety of programs. I'm going to start using the app again, tonight. scream I should definitely go to another Dollar Tree, lol. I've been to some locations where it was amazing. Fully stocked, great products, etc. But, it's ok. I didn't need much anyways.

End of the year crunch is always hectic. Idk if you get folks breathing down your neck because they have deadlines and they try to rush you. I hate that. Already happening to me now, oof.

I have insomnia. Even if I get more than 5 hours of sleep it's not restful/quality sleep. So I feel like crap, oof!

Ooh. A steamboat restaurant? Neat! I haven't been to a beach in years. Doesn't help that I don't own a car either. Also, good idea about going to a recreation center on the weekends. I know a few that's close to me. I'm going to check out the times the centers are open.

It's hard to keep up a routine, but we do our best! I was in a few fitness classes, but it was a struggle getting to them because they started at around 6-7pm and I did not like being out so late. One instructor was lowkey cruel. Liked to mock you if you didn't keep up with the rest of the class. What a jerk! I keep seeing this walking pad on tiktok. Looks interesting. Thoughts on yoga? I have an app I use (....well haven't used it in months. Don't tell 😭).

My weekend was uneventful. Did go to Dollar Tree today, but the store was like...barren. Might need to find another one? But that location is the easiest to get to via public transportation.

It's so hard to actually get good sleep. Sigh.

Any weekend plans? I'm trying (once again) to put together some sort of workout routine. I would like to attend a class at a local recreation center. If I can't find a class, I saw a tiktok that said using the treadmill on an incline is a great workout. I'm just so tired after work and in general.

Ah ha, my mom is the shortest in our family and she always has to have me grab stuff off the shelves for her because my brother and s-dad are airheads and stick stuff where she can’t reach.

It’s kinda weird where I live as far as weather. It’s Florida, so it’s *usually* mildly warm in the winter. (Usually a high of 70*F = ~21-ish*C) but it’s the upper part of the state, so not as warm as Miami or even Orlando. We do get the odd cold front that comes through though, so we’ve gotten ice storms every few years, but snow usually melts once the afternoon rolls by.
My b-dad lives in Oklahoma and it *does* get at least one snowstorm a year. There’s not a lot of windbreaks because it’s mostly prairie and that crap is coooooold. (I haven’t gone to my dad’s in 4-years b/c Covid and I’m sort of nervous because it always threatens to snow me in before I leave for the airport.) I’m assuming you live somewhere like Singapore?

I’m going to have to put it in my tbr pile. I need to get something more substantial, I’ve been going through Villainess-Isekais like cotton candy.
